Some updates have been made to Wowhead's 3D Model Viewer!
The model viewer feature will now open in a convenient Lightbox-style window inside the current page - no more separate pop-up window, and it's faster than ever! It also now supports model display for
mounts
,
flying mounts
,
small pets
and some
non-combat pets
as well!
Also, you can use the 'View in 3D' button to view models for some new items (as well as NPCs) coming with patch 2.4! This will only display weapons, shields, and a few other items but don't fret -
support for player armor is coming very soon
!

Perfect, I love it. Wowhead's 3D viewer is so much better than WoWDB's because it more closely imitates Wowmodelviewer with right-click and scrollwheel functionality; that sort of thing. Good work.
