Did him today with my 21 Priest. He hits hard and needs a 20+group (though rest of deadmines can be done with a 18+, VC is somewhat special ^^)
At 50% and at 25% he spawns extra adds, fear is recommended there.

Comentario de 6813

VanCleef is the last boss of the Deadmines instance in Westfall, which is best attempted at level 18 or above. He can be somewhat challenging for a new group that is not well equipped, as he summons other Defias to help him at 50 and 25%. For a low level instance, the loot he drops is very good, especially Cruel Barb, which is a highly sought after one-handed sword for Rogues and Warriors. Also, Deadmines is probably one of the funnest instances in the game, so I would always recommend going to fight VC. This is one of the earlier instances you should not skip if you are Alliance.

Comentario de 8237

Van Cleef can be overwhelming if you let his adds overcome you, but if you don't he isn't too hard - if you can get to him you can kill him no problem.

When you first engage him two guards will "pop out of the shadows". Polymorph or Fear one of them if you can. Have Damage Dealers attack the non Polymorph/Feared add while the Tank tanks VC. After the first guard goes down kill the other guard and have everyone focus on VC until he gets to 50% life. When he gets to 50% life he will summon two more guards. Polymorph/Fear these guards if you can and have the Tank get aggro on any that aren't Polymorph/Feared. Focus on Van Cleef until he dies and then dispose of the guards.

If you kill his first two guards he is fairly easy, but if you allow all four to be out then you will most likely wipe.

Although I've never done a regular vc run before, i have farmed it many times for the twink drops here. my friends made me run it for them 5-6 times a day so they could get cruel barbs. for the high level toons - farm t his place - can get good money Oo

Comentario de 8409

VC is the first instance for alliance in WoW. Usually id say level 17+ could go, 16+ for a priest. A pretty good group to run VC with would be: Priest, Rogue, Hunter, Mage, and either a Paladin or Warrior for a tank. The low instance really doesnt require a warrior for a tank as paladins can do just as good. Just keep an eye out for patrol as you chug along through the instance. Fighting Van Cleef can be difficult unless you do it right. Many people use a bug on Van Cleef that enables the healer to never get hurt... bugging out all his adds. If the tank / paladin charges van cleef and pulls him out ..... the priest should jump on the cannon just near the ramp that you came up on. If the priest spams heals on the tank, all the adds will go to him. Unable to attack the priest, your group should be safe which will easily enable you to take him down. Just the way most groups go about taking him out.

Comentario de OTLAWLS

heres a strategy for VC ok when you go up the ramp next to VC's room theres a barrel on the left side get all range and healers onto it then buff up and start the battle pull van cleef and run next to the barrel where range and healers are and tank him there when he spawns add just over heal and let the guards evade bug after you kill and loot VC just gentley have the 1 who has aggro of 1 or more of the guards jump off and onto the ramp and they will de-bug then kill them its pretty simple really well GL and HF!

Comentario de Fedelis

This is a pretty easy encounter. When you go up the ramp onto the very last ramp onto the top deck, you will notice canons to the left. Your healer should jump to the neerest one before the battle begins. Have someone (preferably the tank) pull VC back towards the cannon so that he is in line of sight for heals.

Let the tank get a little agro before casting any heals, if a heal get cast early, VC will evade bug and the encounter will have to start over. Healing the person who pulled will pull the guard's agro to the healer, and they will evade bug. Simply dps and heal as you would any mob and the battle will end fairly easily.

Comentario de Sly99

If you're going at him with anyone level 16 or under expect them to die quickly, its a good idea to take out the adds first so everyone can focus on him, if you have your weakest focused on the adds your strongest should have him to at least 50 by the time your done.

Comentario de 8301

As everyone is saying, and I will say again, always have your healer on the cannon. If you screw up before then or don't use it, jump down to the wheel/gear, stay there and watch them evade bug. Good luck on your next run in that place!

Comentario de 9545

This whole line of quests is fun and going through Deadmines is very fun. I have yet to see it's equal in WoW as far as dungeons go.

Comentario de 9932

A neat trick i learned when doing VC is to get all your healers to jump onto the cannon closest to the ramp upto the deck of the ship. Then get your tank to pull him to the ramp so your healer can cast heals without worrying about his line of sight. When doing this fight, everyone should dps Van Cleef and his guards wil get bugged and stand there. Once you kill him tell your healers to jump back onto the ship, when they do so, the guards will continue attacking.

He's not a rare elite... Just an elite...

Comentario de 7599

VanCleef can be soloed by a level 10 twinked rogue (with a dodge chance greater than 100%). Here is an article and video about someone that did it:

http://www.wowinsider.com/2007/05/07/wow-moviewatch-rogue-solos-van-cleef/

Comentario de 52234

If u have a Warrior tanking him, fastest way to get VanCleef down is to get warrior to charge, and cast himself retaliation. Notice that when VanCleef is at 50% there comes new adds. AoE could be good at this point.

Comentario de Thottbot

VanCleef is not that hard, as long as you do not concentrate on him at first. Send your tank up to draw his attention (do not have a caster pull him), and then kill off the two hiddens who follow him out. The reason for this is as follows: at roughly 3/5 hp, VC calls out two more hiddens, so now you have 5 things to deal with instead of just three. Kill his two ass-kissers, get him to 3/5, then kill the remaining three in any order you want (I prefer to kill VC first, as he does the most damage by far).

Comentario de Thottbot

Anyone who said Murk Eye was elite was wrong. Murk Eye is not elite and does not have a gold dragon around his frame. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y199/Neglan/WoWScrnShot_062505_050655.jpg
Brack is not elite either, though he does have a dragon around his frame. Please note it is a silver frame, though, meaning he is a rare spawn, not that he is elite. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y199/Neglan/WoWScrnShot_062505_050251.jpg

Comentario de Thottbot

Solo'd all of Deadmines as 31 hunter. Probably could've done it at 30, since I had all of DM solo'd except for VC at 28 and got VC down to 3%. Unlike some people here this isn't at all bull%^&* - I can give a step by step walkthrough of how I did it if you want, though I'm sure VC is the only one worth mentioning so here goes:

To kill VC solo as a hunter, you need to understand something about the encounter. VC is in a room with two rogues on either side of the door. If you try to kill the two rogues first and then <insert escape method here> they will respawn when VC loses aggro. This is to prevent battles of attrition where you kill 1 rogue at a time until VC is alone. But clearly, at level 30 you can't fight VC + 2 elite rogues + 2 more elite rogues at 50% all together. So the way you do it is to isolate VC's guards from VC using an aggro trick. Basically, you want the rogues aggro'd on you but VC not (this is tricky because they're all linked, but not impossible if you use the geography to your advantage). If you can accomplish this then you've got the encounter handled because the two rogues will attack you while VC is un-aggro'd which means they won't respawn until he's un-aggro'd the next time (which won't happen since you'll kill him the next time). Getting aggro from his guards without him involves a combination of Feign Death and jumping on the water wheel. Keep jumping on the water wheel after aggro until you are in a situation where the rogues are aggro'd on you while VC is running back to his spawn point (there's a split second difference between when he runs and when the rogues run). It might not work at first - and really this is more about luck of the draw than anything else - but sooner or later you'll isolate 1-2 rogues from him.

Once you've got VC to yourself or him and one other rogue, simply do the following: Kill the remaining rogue first if he exists. Freeze trap VC while this happens. Then kill VC but make sure your pet's hps stay above 60% (use mend pet for this) until VC hits 50%. Then go all out on VC starting with a multishot to bring his new minions from your pet to you. Tank these minions while you go all out DPS on VC. He should die with you about to die. FD at this point and let the rogues reset. Loot VC and go boast that you've solo'd all of DM at 30.

Comentario de Thottbot

A group of level 18's with a good healer and a good tank that can hold agro can go through the deadmines with no sweat. Smite is sometimes a problem because of his stunning but if you have the tank pull him back far enough you unstun before he reaches the chest and comes back. This gives the healer a chance to heal the tank and any other group member that might need it. It all really depends on the group and their experience in the deadmines.

Comentario de Thottbot

For those who wanna be a VanCleef look-a-like:

Make a Human Rogue and give him long black hair, the hairstyle with the right part slightly longer then the left part.
Tan his skin to lightbrown.

Now all you need to do is level your char and get the following equipment:

- Red Defias Mask
- Stormshroud set (it's the armor VC wears)
- Cruel Barb in main hand
- Assasin's Blade in offhand

Next, drink a Winterfall Firewater to get his size, and voila, you look just like VanCleef.

You can do this to look like a Defias pirate too, but then you should get this equipment:

- Red Defias Mask
- Buccaneer's Boots of the *****
- Buccaneer's Vest of the *****
- Buccaneer's Pant of the *****
- Buccaneer's Cord of the *****

Get the Parrot Cage (Green Wing Macaw) to make it even more realistic.

It's pretty cool to do but not to fight with since it's all cloth.

Comentario de Thottbot

i soloed this as a 33 hunter with an owl as my pet, Im BM specced, so i barely got hit at all, i just used multi shot the whole time while my pet held aggro with screech and growl, Only problem was when VC spawned his other 2 guardians, i had to FD, bandage, and then help my pet out, easy to do with a good pet, just need potions and bandages

Comentario de Allakhazam

my lvl 19 twink needs that defias armor.. but i just wont drop! killed him a hell of a lot of times... but still no armor... damn u vancleef!

Comentario de Allakhazam

Can anyone post a picture of an Undead rogue or an Orc Rogue with this set ?

Comentario de Allakhazam

He also dualwields, hits very fast, and summons 2 rogues every once in a while. He also spawns with two stealthed rogues, one on each side of him. Have your tank take VC, and everyone work on the rogues. Turn on VC when the rogues die and just pound the #$%^ out of him with everything you have.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Its retarded.. don dm 30 runs now with my twink.. a pall boosting me.. no armor yet -.-' seen tons of shirts... and got 10 blades in my backpack.. 4 capes.. -.- But no bloody Defias armor! comone.... 14% my ass :P

Went with a 10 man group to DM after a ZG run a few weeks ago.

4 hours of ZG + beer + 10 level 60's + Deadmines = hilarious!

You just take each section out in one go. We had 2 druid tanks round up every mob in each section, drag them back to one point where a couple of mages Arcane Exploded them to death :) Mages were having a competition to see who could get the most burst DPS. Next day a few screenshots appeared on our forums with 30k+ DPS showing on the damage ticker.

The grand finale was 3 mages, 2 hunters, 2 rogues and a lock letting rip with a simultaneous Pyro/Frostbolt/Aimed Shot/Ambush/Shadowbolt on Van Cleef.

Definitely a nice way to chill out after a long raid :)

Comentario de Allakhazam

Comentario de Allakhazam

easy to solo as a level 40 druid

first here is wat the fella does:
wen u attak him he has 2 defias blackguards that fight with him, at exactly 50% health another 2 defias blackguards appear, they continue to fight even after vancleef is dead so they must be killed to be stopped.

there r two ways to kill him

1) pull him in bear form and kill the guards 1 by 1 heal wen u need it, after uve taken out the two guards kill vancleef all the way and take out the other two guards. heal wen u need it, just remember u have 3 mobs on u so give urself alot of cast time.....easy peasy.

2) after u have kill smite go left first and kill cookie this will help later on.
wen u get to vancleef, make sure u have inventory space, ur gonna do a super fast loot and run. wen u pull vancleef absolutely pwn him, do it in cat form if u like but u may need to heal more often, as soon as hes downed u will have 4 guards on u, kill em if u like but otherwise loot vancleef and jump off the edge where u kill cookie erlier, there is a bridge that leads to an exit to the instance it acts as a kind of back door, get through there and u r home free

my lvl 32 warrior, aidonna, can solo VC as long as someone gets rid of the rouges...he is TOOOOOO easy.

Comentario de Allakhazam

It's much easier to just focus fire on VC rather than bother with his buddies first, I've really never had success with groups that go for his guards first.

God I remember the first few times I fought VC, I seriously thought he was like invincible since he wiped our group everytime =)

Of course back then I sucked and so did most other peeps, ah those were the days =P

Comentario de Allakhazam

Soloable at around 30 by Shaman. I was enhancement, relatively untwinked. Weapon: Corpsemaker. Weapon buff: Windfury.

Start the fight by dropping stoneclaw (AND YOU NEVER THOUGHT YOU'D USE THIS) and pull VC with a flameshock. Backpedal while meleeing with VC. His men will eventually break your stoneclaw; When this happens, drop earthbind. pull the group down the ramp leading onto the boat proper, and jump off the ledge onto the deck below.

Drop manaspring. Heal yourself. Vancleef and his boys are going to come pounding down the stairs in about a minute; Once they're in range, resume melee. Shock him once or twice. Once you can't take the melee anymore, jump into the water. There's a circular outcropping of rock in the middle of the water; swim to it.

Set down manaspring, heal. If you have a mana potion, drink it. Finish off van cleef, loot. You'll probably die from his four guards. If you're tauren, you might be able to war stomp, and water walk to the boat; If you can do this, run up the ramp until you get to the water wheel and jump on it. Victoly!

Comentario de Allakhazam

Do you have to be by the body to get cruel barb or can you just have it on Master Looter so a 60 can run in and kill him? like can you wait at the entrance have it on Master Looter the 60 is ML and runs in kills VC and still get the loot?

Comentario de Allakhazam

I have a 19 warrior twink (well 17 now :P ) but I'm having a good friend (60) run me thru VC and WC for twink items. I did Edwin about .. 3 times? and He dropped one cape and I think 2 of the cloth chests. Really kinda pissed me off cause those are the 2 items that I COULDN'T use -_-

I could use the Barb for when I'm tanking with the flag in WSG.
Even tho it is leather, it gives awesome stats, 210 health with 100+ health enchant. I'm also looking forward to getting Smite's Hammer, and some other leather/mail @#$% from WC.

Haha, sorry. A bit lengthy. BTW I'm horde.

Comentario de Allakhazam

He's easy

Comentario de Allakhazam

Anyone know a set of armor that looks like his? lol

Comentario de Allakhazam

i soloed the whole instance and 28 with duals and i pulled out 2h axe and retall for all bosses then logged and waited for it to cooldown and came back on easy =)

Comentario de Allakhazam

This guy drops some fair stuff for twinking.
Cruel Barb is good for warrs and rogues, blackened defias armor is good for all leather-wearers (and warrs unconcerned about armor, that stam is nice), and Corsair's Overshirt is a fair Priest item. Not the worst lock item either, although there are better.
Mr. Smite drops a couple good items, Cookie drops that wand, and Gilnid drops a pretty good caster ring (+6 int).
What to do:
Have a friend (50+ to make things quick and easy) clear the instance while your char waits outside. If you have a main, help him out to make things even quicker, leaving your twink-to-be logged out in front of the instance.
Once you guys have cleared up to Mr. Smite (unless you wanted the ring, then get your char in for Gilnid), have your friend wait for your alt while you log. If you don't need anything except from VC, then have him carry on up to the top of the ship.
Try to get past the respawns and pats, if you can't then get your friend to reclear a bit. Then take on VC. My 56 fire mage three-shotted him (combustion, pyro/fireball/fireball with some nice crits :D), and he has terrible gear for his level.
So long as your twink does not enter the instance except for the loot he needs (enter before the boss dies), he will get minimal xp, allowing as many runs as needed.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Elite means he has the HP of a lvl 40 or so and the damage of a 25. Its to make him tough for groups. Should be able to be kill solo by someone 5 levels over him... or less if lucky.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Whut lv could i solo vc at im a 29 rough right now i wana know if i cna solo it any time soon

Comentario de Allakhazam

He is listed as a rare elite while he's a boss and he's always there
It's illogical.

Comentario de Allakhazam

My group raped him. We had a lvl 34 Warrior who took agro. And the rest were: lvl 24 lock, lvl 30 druid, me(lvl 18 rogue), and i think a lvl 25ish hunter. When we started fighting him, it was everyone having their own agro. But as the battle dragged on, All the rest except Warrior and me, died. So the warrior took out Van Cleef and we whooped the remaining rogues with the warrior at a quarter health. He only dropped cape of brotherhood and unsentletter that starts a quest. I won the cape and stole the letter =P ( not really steal, they just didn't need it). Next time I want the barb as i'm duel weiding swords but i dont think he always drops. Overall he was easy as long as you take out rogues first and then VC, or else the rogues will annoy the *!@# out of you when ur killing VC. Can probably do the run at about lvl 40+ including the killing of the rogues.

Comentario de Allakhazam

This instance is solable by a hunter as low as 32, I got my cape of the brotherhood this way~ Van Cleef is a really tough fight to solo at that level, but the rest of it I was able to clear without much problem

Comentario de Allakhazam

just look at the blues, defias armor, cruel barb, and cape of the brotherhood. rogue all the way, and one lousy spirit chest for casters. might as well skip him.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Just killed him ( lvl 22 rogue ) with a couple guys , and he dropped only the cape >< , I didnt get it either xD

Comentario de Allakhazam

as of 3/16/07 he has a rare mob dragon around his picture...odd.

Comentario de Allakhazam

I recommend that everybody focuses on Van Cleef and the warrior ( who has to be over 22 ) just has to fear them ...... or the priest ... :P just till u manage to kill him and loot his head

Comentario de Allakhazam

this guy is really anyoying he has not dropped the cape of the brotherhood once he's dropped 2 cruel barbs 2 defias armor and loads of other stuff if anyone is one the defias brotherhood realm plz can u high levels take me thru i been 15 times im (Sadin) Alliance

Comentario de Allakhazam

First off, there's a lot of bad tactics here. The second pair of guards is summoned when Van Cleef is low on health, not based on time or anything else.

Van Cleef has two stealthed guards, and you should use crowd-control if you have it-- on VC. One guard should then be your first target. The tank should hold aggro on both guards and also Van Cleef when he breaks CC. *Make sure you kill both guards before anyone besides the tank hits VC.* (This shouldn't be a foreign concept; it's by far the easiest way to kill Smite, too.)

After Cleef gets hurt enough to spawn the second pair of guards, have the tank pick those up and then everyone else keep beating down VC. Finally kill the last two guards.

Tip for twinks: even with a level 45 escort, my shaman 19 was getting quite a lot of xp per full clear, almost half a level unrested. I ran out of xp and want to stay in the 19th level WSG, so I didn't get the Defias chest. For an alliance rogue, druid or shaman I'd suggest getting the quest reward chest as a safety net-- you can always get a weapon from the auction house plus there's a great staff drop from Greenskin, and the Cruel Barb from VC. I give this advice in hindsight as I have a Staff of Westfall with Fiery Weapon and then Greenskin's staff dropped my next run. :(

Comentario de Allakhazam

We were so close to clearing this last night...

20 NE Priest
20 Gnome Mage
20 Hume Warrior

This is our Trio for these classes, myself (mage wife (priest) and brother (warrior) cleared everything upto VC without any deaths. We were headseted the whole way which made things 10x easier than in pick-up-groups. Plus the Holy Trinity (MH, MT, DD) helped balance out roles.

We got upto VC fairly easy, just keep the pulls to a minimum of 4-5 non-elites or 2-3 elites and your fine. Clear all areas around bosses so it's a focused fight, and things should stay smooth... at least they did for us. One time we got ambushed by patroles from the rear just as we pulled 2 elites from the front, which made it a 5-on-3 battle, but we got a few good moves in to over come it with no deaths (1st aid and alchemy potions helped).

We had a strat going for multi MOB boss fights... I'd pull an Add and sheep them next to me, clearing the area for AoE moves by the Warrior and myself. We then focused on the other Add(s) to clear them from the Boss while he pummeled the Warrior. Then killed the Boss while I kept the single Add sheeped. Thru Headsets... it worked just fine and very effective I might say.

Mr. Edwin VanCleef: This was a wipe I'll take the blame for. I wanted to use the same strat we used upto him, (pull sheep, kill, kill, un-sheep kill). But things got a little to hairy after the pull. I told my Bro (war) to wait with any AoE moves till I had one guy next to me, but to start on one of the Rouges and VC. Well... I Fireblasted, Frostbolted & even Fireballed one of the Rouged when I finaly realized it was the one he was geared on and thus; the reason I couldn't pull him away until he was allready at 1/2 health ><. Then made the choice to kill him insted of sheep his HPs back... which also made the same case for the other Rouge that was getting AoE'd by the Warrior, and now attacked because I got one of them away. So I couldn't sheep till well past the 1st two Rouges, which ate all the Priests mana for heals... including on me, because I took out 50% of a Lv20 elites HPs solo.

...we killed VanCleef and 2 of his Rouges before we wiped... didn't get a chance to loot VC either... soooo close ><

We could have done it if; we all geared on VC the full time... then sheep/nova the adds & kite while the priests potions/spirit worked. Killing the adds first is just leaving Mr. Eddy open to do too much damage, and eat alot of mana.

Comentario de Allakhazam

I ask you, how does a 21 get full madcap, that's just crazy. I say he's a GM in disguise.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Ran the dungeon many times... 60 friend and another friend helped me... I got the Cape of the Brotherhood and Blackened Difias Armor 3 times. Had to vendor the armor though and I plan to use the cape at 20.

Comentario de Allakhazam

You need 5 people lvl 20+ to do it in 1 swoop without everyone dying. You need at least 1 healer, 1-2 tanks (may include Hunters here), 1 Rogue, and 1 Caster type. I've done it 3 times now at different levels and it's not really possible at 18. It may say he's lvl 22, but he's an "elite" 22, which means he may fight as strong as a 24 or 25. He is also a boss, giving him extra strength, resistances, hp, etc.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Mages can definately solo this at lvl 40 (maybe lower but i only tryed at 40). Van Cleef is your main challenge here. Firstly go to far side of boat you shud be able see one of the blackguards SHEEP him once VC comes out clear his adds be4 fighting him .. our AoE is really usefull here. Once all adds our down start pwning him

Minage 48, Hellscream

Comentario de Allakhazam

Just soloed thw hoel instance, but either way, he isn't hard at all. I didn't sheep, frost nova or anything. I would say he is very very easy, and I just pounded him, ignoreing the rouges. The second set pop at half health.

Comentario de Allakhazam

haha thats a lot of notes...

Comentario de Allakhazam

just focus all ur attacks on vancleef and dont worry about his adds, after you kill him simply jump on the cannon to the left of the ramp as you come up...it glitchs the adds and sends them back to their spawns, after they go back jump down and loot vancleef =]

Comentario de Allakhazam

what lvl are the minoins around him. i heard there the hardes part

Comentario de Allakhazam

Like TenebraeWolf says, this boss is really easy. I alone take him down (lvl41). Farming on lvl40 makes you earn around 10g per run. Depends if your auctions sell for that price tough. ;)

Comentario de Allakhazam

Ok.

I soloed him at 40 on my warrior. Weapon: Mograines Might. Weapon Buff: +5 wep dmg

I recommend Battle Stance. Charge in, get in a few hits, and use Intimidating Shout. This gets rid of the concern of the 2 Blackguards. Once they're gone, he goes down really easy. When the Blackguards come back and the other 2 spawn, dont worry. Bring down VC then kill the Blackguards.

Personally...he's a really easy boss, a lot easier, in my opinion, then Rhank'Zor.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Just solod him with lvl39 rogue.
Died at Smite, heh. Two times.

Money earned: 60s (boss loots, except Smite)
Money spent on repairs: 16s
Time spent: 30-40min

Not worth it seems.

p/s The tricks is to nuke him before the rogues around him outdamage you. But i had prepartion, so i had 30 seconds extra, so i just nuked him, looted and vanished. Was still very tricky.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Re-cap:

Went back as Lv22s and cleared everything without a single death. Same group, same style except we went at VC a little different.

Warrior kited VC a little farther than last time to get him to the fighting spot. while the Warrior ran to his ground I sheeped one rouge, this took one away and kept him from AoE abilities. We then pummled VC as hard as possible & took him down in no time. The three rouges + the sheeped rouge were then routine kills. The same as any group of 3 elites we took on our way to VC.

We now have a Warrior that can dual wield the Cruel Barbs ;)

Done his quest WAY too many times now, helping people out...

He has 2 rogues with him when he comes at you. At a certain damage threshold, he spawns 2 more, it's not on a timer or random. Best way to take him is to have the tank do enough damage so aggro is guaranteed... no more than 5-6 hits. Then everyone focus on the rogues. When they drop, everyone focus on VanCleef. When the other 2 rogues spawn, it's really group dependant... I've been in groups that finished him off first, and in ones that went after the second set of rogues. Both ways worked out.

He's a pretty easy battle, as long as everyone has a good plan and is well-prepared.

I have no trouble with this boss even with groups that aren't all 20+. As usual, tank should tank the boss, while everyone else focuses on the rogues. Its actually best if a Mage is handy for sheeping, aside from that, its pie.

So, I'm trying to equip my level 19 rogue to dominate WSG. I have a friend (level 55 warlock) who can help me grind through the instance to get VC. If he doesn't drop the Cruel Barb, can we wait there for him to spawn again, or do we have to tear through the whole instance all over again?

best way ive seen is all focus on vancleef and just keep running around away from rogues trying to keep 1 on each party member except none on the healer, wen edwin dies...

run to the safe point on the wheel., wen the rogues go back up the top they disapear and dont come back again...

I find it funny that if stormwind really wanted to, they could send 1 guard to deadmines+stockades and kill everyone. So whats with the whole "ZOMG we're gonna get killed by the defias" stuff?
