We recently had an early hands-on look at the WoW Classic beta, exploring the old zones once again. If you didn't play vanilla WoW, or want a trip down memory lane, check our videos on original Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Theramore, Kalimdor, and Eastern Kingdoms.

Kalimdor Flythrough
As you watch this flythrough of Kalimdor, there are several major changes from Battle for Azeroth:
Teldrassil stands unburnt while Darkshore is not ravaged by either the Forsaken or Deathwing's damage.
The Northern and Southern Barrens are not separated by a chasm of fire.
Theramore Keep is not bombed by Garrosh.
Thousand Needles is not flooded.
Mount Hyjal is closed off, and southern Winterspring is filled with demons.
Ashenvale is not damaged by Ragnaros.
Eastern Kingdoms Flythrough
As you watch this flythrough of Kalimdor, there are several major changes from Battle for Azeroth:
Stranglethorn Vale is not split in two.
The Dark Portal has a different glow.
The Stonewrought Dam is not destroyed.
Wetlands is not flooded.
Southshore is not covered in plague.
Stormwind
Stormwind in Classic WoW was untouched by Deathwing, who destroyed the Park District in Cataclysm as well as damaged other districts in the city. Parts of Stormwind, such as the Keep, have been uprezzed over the years, but bck in Classic, Varian was missing while Anduin was just a young child sitting in the original version of Stormwind Keep.
Orgrimmar
Orgrimmar in Classic WoW was free from the influence of Garrosh's redecorating efforts in Cataclysm, with more rudimentary buildings and a sleepier feel. Modern sections such as the Troll and Goblin areas were not present in Classic WoW as well. And of course, Thrall presides over it all as the Warchief of the Horde.
Theramore
Theramore was bombed leading up to Mists of Pandaria by Garrosh. Previously, Theramore was the home of Jaina Proudmoore and an important Alliance stronghold in Kalimdor.
