Most Popular WoW Classic Class, Leveling, and BiS Guides (Sept 20)

For this mid-week WoW Classic popular guide report, we're seeing many end-game guides on top, including more Best in Slot and PvE profession guides. Check out what guides players have been using the most from September 18th through 20th on Wowhead.
Do note that the following lists are based on Wowhead traffic, and reflect most popular
guides
not overall content in the game. People usually go to Wowhead when they need help with something, such as a confusing quest or location of a trainer NPC. If you've encountered a guide that you feel is a hidden gem and should get more attention, let us know in the comments!
As we saw in our last report, popular class guides have shifted from leveling to Best in Slot lists. In our last guide report, we saw the
Mage Best in Slot Guide
joined by
Rogues
,
DPS Warriors
, and
Warlocks
. These guides continue to rise, along with the
Classic Priest Healing Best in Slot
joining the top 25, as Priests are considered to be the quintessential Classic healer.
We recently published some BiS spotlights, such as
pre-raid Best in Slot gear from 40-49 sources
and
BiS from crafted gear
, and have a few more on the way!
End-game professions like
Alchemy
and
Engineering
continue to see increases, as Alchemy is valuable for potions and flasks, while Engineering has an array of strong gadgets to increase DPS.
As for what is leaving the top 25, we're seeing leveling guides trend downwards, with the BiS counterparts for some classes now ahead of the leveling guides. There does seem to still be a strong component of players in the level 40 range, but they are looking up dungeons like
Uldaman
and
Scarlet Monastery
instead of leveling as much. Over the next few days, we expect to see more BiS guides like Warrior Tank and Hunter crack the top 25, as well as some dungeons that are good sources of pre-raid best in slot.
