While Classic isn't here yet, the community keeps showing its passion and creativity with many different events. Last Sunday, June 2nd, the Horde Classic Cup took place. The tournament was hosted by
Tipsoutbaby
and played as a Best of 3 Single Elimination Duel Tournament format, with 32 participants and a prize pool of US$2000. A
similar event happened during the Classic Demo, but on the Alliance side
.
The event had a huge audience, peaking over 200 000 viewers among the many Streamers both watching and participating in the tournament. After a couple of hours, Venruki won the tournament with his undead Mage, with a final victory over Snutz and his Undead Warlock.
