Classic Wowhead Client Working - Submit Your User Data for Site NPCs and Quest Info

We're very happy to announce Wowhead's Client now supports Classic WoW, allowing players to upload data to improve the accuracy on our Classic Database Pages. By using this addon, we've also added hundreds of Classic quests to our database yesterday.
Why Is the Wowhead Client Important for the Database?
Through user-submitted data, we can improve several parts of the Classic Database, not limited to, but including:
NPC locations and maps
Droprates and item sources, including dungeon loot
Vendor Costs and Sold By Tab
Quest Progress and Completion Text
Quest Start and Finish NPCs
Translated NPCs and Quests
Quest Maps and Objectives
Ordered Quest Series
Adding NPCs and Quests
Quest Experience
That's a lot of information, so we need your help!
How Do I Get Wowhead Client for Classic?
If you already have the Wowhead Client installed, just run Wowhead_Client.exe and it will download new version, and update the current addons. It should auto detect wow classic install dir and install the addon itself. In case it does not detect the Classic client, just go to options and add it.

If you have not installed the client before, please visit the
Wowhead Client
page. Installation is easy:
Download the Wowhead Client.
Place it anywhere you wish on your computer.
Start it up, and go through the initial configuration process, which includes entering your Wowhead username/password information.
To upload your data, simply start up the Wowhead Client program and click the Upload button.
Recent Database Updates - Many Quests Added
With the Wowhead staff testing and running the addon on beta, we've been able to import
hundreds more quests
onto the database. For example, if you are questing in Ashenvale, you'll be pleased to know all the

quests are now showing up on the site, and linked together in the
Series
section on the page.
We've also removed all live data from NPC locations, vendor wares, and droptables, so any data displayed on the Classic subdomain moving forward will reflect Classic beta uploads.
However, for high-level quests, we have opted to keep their information and descriptions copied over from Live Wowhead--as the level cap is 30, relying only on addon data would essentially delete all level 30-60 quests from our Classic database, which would cause frustration. Whenever the level cap opens up, and we gather more quest data, we will automatically replace the live quest data with Classic entries.
How Do I Browse the Classic Database?
It is very important to make sure you are on the
correct domain
when looking for Classic information! Otherwise you will find BFA versions of data, which could include changed stats, quest descriptions, and locations. For example,

is marked as obsolete on our BFA site.
You also won't be able to browse Thottbot and Allakhazam comments, or change the
layout to Thottbot
, if you are on our BFA site.
So, if you are looking up popular Classic database pages like

first! You can swap between databases using the options to the left of the search box.
