I am having trouble with the white tiger challenge and would appreciate some help and advice. I am lvl 90 with 293k. I have seen players warriors as well as me with lvl 88 and health of less than 233k complete. I have already been round most of Pandaria and done most single player quests. This is getting me down as I cannot progress through the Golden Lotus tasks. In fact I am getting so frustrated I am thinking of quitting when my subscription runs out in a couple of months.
Please help (oh and derogatory comments don't help so if you only advice to quit keep it to yourself)
Keith(##RESPBREAK##)12##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##Please do not cross-post the same thread in multiple forums. I've deleted the other two you've posted. This one will remain.

You could take some time watching others do it, if your server is active enough. Notice what abilities get you in trouble, and see how other handle those (or come back here and maybe we can be more specific).
But basically Abcat is right - you need to learn when to run away. And keep using your selfhealing abilities, whatever they are.

I did it at 88 on my warrior and actually died during the third trial, but still got credit for the quest...
It was actually comparable to the Sha of Despair and the rarespawn fights. Avoid the AoEs and such.

I'd say the big thing is to get out of the frontal cone and whirlwind attacks the "bosses" can do. Those things hurt like hell and can kill you in short order if you're not careful.
Self healing abilities/talents help too if you're melee.

Right, I managed to defeat the first one. The second one even though he killed me I had done more than 50% damage to him (around 80% I think) and even though I lost I was still given credit for it. I just can't quite do the the third one! Thing is I have partial disability in one hand and I just can't run in and out and strike at him fast enough as I have limited use of one hand. Is there some sort of game pad I can attch to my computer to use as I am using the keyboard and mouse right now.

Sorry, even though I am lvl 90 I have only been playing for six months and I am strictly a solo player not having any friends who play wow so I don't do the dungeons that require groups as I kept getting left to die then kicked out, what do you mean by "self-heals"? Do you mean potions and such?
Is there somewhere where multi player newbies can get together and gain experience on these as most groups want only experienced players?

Have you looked at the Logitech key-pads? I have a buddy who lost his left arm in the war and that is what he uses on his right hand. (Took him a while to find a right handed one.) Takes some getting used to, but after you are, it is beast-mode.
Link below to the Logitech one...

By self heals, I was thinking of
a
wide
selection
of
abilities
, depending on class, that help keep health up during fights.
Good luck finding a way to deal with your problem, I'm afraid I have no experience with not having both hands free to do what I want them to do. Teaming up with someone and doing the quest in group may be a solution to this particular problem. Or just pay someone to stand by and heal you while you do this. If I were you, though, I'd be looking for a more permanent solution that will unlock far more of your potential, such as what lonewolfe31705 mentions above.
Edit: Interrupts! Forgot to mention those, they're very useful here.

I dunno why you are stuck in that quest, I've done it at 87 on 3 classes, Frost Dk, Destro Lock, and WW Monk, and had absolutely zero problem (Though the third fight almost killed me on the DK, damned whirlwind)
I can give you some pointers if you tell me what your class is. And your spec.
But the main gist of it is:
Test One: Spirit of Violence - Casts "Sha Corruption", creating a deadly cloud wherever you are standing. Make sure you are moving when it finishes casting so you are out of the way.
Test Two: Spirit of Anger - Along with the previous spell, it casts "Devastation", creating a frontal cone attack (On the ground you will see like white bubbles) Move out of the way immediately to make sure you are not caught in it.
Test Three: Spirit of Hate - Along with the previous two spells, it casts "Whirlwind of Anger". It takes a few seconds for him to warm up so make sure to move as far away from him as possible so that when he begins coming after you, you are out of range of his blades. During whirlwind of anger, he will spin around and will deal massive damage every second for 6 seconds. You NEED to be away when he starts casting this, then close in again when he's done.
Remember those simple rules and you should be able to pass the tests with no problem. Get caught in any of those attacks and you will likely lose 1/3 to 1/2 of your health very quickly.
I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but wow is a very reactive game. You don't just stand there and smash your keys to kill enemies, you have to pay attention to their attack patterns, avoid what they throw on the ground, use your tools smartly (By tools I mean your stuns, crowd control, healing abilities, cooldowns, ect) and sometimes even use your environment to your advantage.
If you want more advice, tell me your class and your specialization.

If you could also state your realm, maybe a benevolent soul will see and help. Also, posting on your realm forum for help?

What I need is a tutorial telling me how to battle. How some people jump around run around and still have the ability to strike is beyond me! I have to get in close to use melee weapons and then get the stuffing knocked out of me! I can't even best Qua Ro Whitebrow so it looks like all my work raising a Cloud Serpent is going to be for nothing! My rage doesn't go very high at all (not like it did in the lower levels) and drops off far too quickly "You can't do that not enough rage"!
I know I am not the best gamer out there (by a long shot) but this is beginning to get me down as all I can do now are the lower daily quests (the Arboretum and Half Hill for example) and they are becoming boring

In my opinion, WoW is a mechanic game, pretty much like riding a bike. Unless you feel/see it, even we pass an hour writting a long text, I doubt you will learn much.
The only thing people can help with is the numbers; you need to give your armory so people can tell if your stats/reforge/gears are in order.
The last part people can help you with, on a forum is your rotation.
Again, in my opinion, you need to experience it, feel it and find your balance. When people move and jump around, it mean hand/eye coordination and a long experience in the game. If you go skating and expecting to suddenly be as good as a veteran hockey player, you will feel like you can't achieve much just like now.

o_O and that's exactly what I did. Read my post.
Now that I know you are a warrior, my first recommendation is to chance your specialization from Fury to Arms if you haven't already. Regardless of what spec does more damage, I have always felt that Fury is constantly rage-starved, whereas Arms has so much rage you often don't know what to do with it.
The next pointers are as follow:
See the enemy casting something? use Pummel (Bind it to a close key, like X)
See the enemy casting something, but their cast-bar is surrounded by a thick metallic frame? that means you can't interrupt it with pummel, so use a stun.
Need to get away from their whirlwind? turn around and use heroic leap.
I could give you more pointers if you give me more info, like what's your gear, if you're horde or alliance, ect ect.
As Thaur said, link your armory profile so we can have a better idea of how to help you.

Well, thanks for the tips guys. I went and reforged my weapon and armour sacrificing critical hit for parry, haste and dodge. Then running around in circles and just bashing away at the number keys I killed the last one even though the bugger killed me with his last breath I got the credit.
This tactic though isn't working with Qua Ro Whitebeard he still kills me!
When I went to the shrine of seven stars the golden lotus girl doesn't have anything for me. Two of the others do but I can't do them until I get revered with Golden Lotus. Is she the right one? Do I have to wait 24 hours after finishing the white tiger challenge before she does?
