Besides monk, what class do you think has the potential to level the fastest? I want to see how fast I can level from 1-90 (mainly because I am bored lol). I won't be using RAF or what ever the xp potion is called. I will be using heirlooms. Is there any prep work I should do for the toon (certain items or anything that would come in handy), or should I just throw on those BOAs and start leveling? Thanks.

Throw on the Looms and go to it. All of the classes level fast now a days.

I would imagine hunter is the fastest simply because there is no real downtime as you are questing or grinding. You can attack while running and use your pet to attack as well so you can kill things while you're moving toward the next quest area or next target, etc. I leveled my hunter to 90 in 2.5 days played using most heirlooms.

the two that level the fastest are the Death Knights (on virtue that they start at lvl 55, and by the time they leave their starting zone are already 58, effectively cutting down by half the levels you need) and the monks (on virtue that they have their stacking 50% Exp buff that you can gain and refresh continuously)

My record for levelling is on my Alt hunter -3 days 8 hours and 23 minutes played beat my monk by 6 hours . this was with only a few heirlooms so with a full set it would be faster

This.
In looms which you can collect after a few quests, you leave the starter zone at close to level 60.
Which takes about an hour or so.
I believe that would give a DK an unassailable lead in any leveling race, especially as Blood and Frost are stupidly OP up to and beyond Cata content.
I don't care which class you
think
levels faster, I'd bet my house on my DK being able to slap hozen or fisheads around before you've even left Northrend.

easiest class to level would be the one that gets you in a guild the fastest, and given the versatility of a druid, hmm id say either dk or druid, even though dk has a +55 level advantage
What?
Could you clarify how you feel it's hard to get into a guild at all these days, because I assume you mean leveling perks?
If that is the case I can't recall a time when my un-guilded toons weren't inundated with guild invites within minutes of logging on to them.

Besides the Monk and DK for obvious reasons. the rest are all so close that it doesnt´matter. The majority of the actual time you spend leveling is just traveling. In heirlooms, everyone kills stuff super fast and without needing healing.
I would say ranged classes would be slightly faster because it is easier for them to muti-dot and pull more mobs at the same time. I would say affliction warlock.
But I just think it is better to play something you enjoy.

Considering DKs only take three or four hours to get out of the starting zone, I think it's no contest. =)
LOL What are you doing in the starting zone for the other two-three hours?
It feels to me like the longest part of the DK zone is waiting for the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel to start.
I suppose it's quicker for an experienced player, but even a first time DK should have no problem getting out of the zone in 2 hours.
its all about which classes are desired
No
The question was fairly specific, Which class levels the fastest.

The class that levels the fastest is the one that is most demanded
And how exactly does that work?

I can see the more demanded
roles
being faster if you're dungeon leveling because of instant queues, but every class with a tank or heal spec is pretty equally well off in that regard. Well, disregarding minor differences in how fast they can clear the instance, but even that would be the opposite connection of what you seem to be implying - they're in demand because they can go faster, they don't go faster because they're in demand.

That's funny. I remember leveling a Shadow Priest by only doing quests.
