Should Blizzard Allow Boosting in the Next Iteration of Classic?

Recently, Blizzard made some changes to the Burning Crusade Anniversary servers in an attempt to
limit gold farming and level boosting in dungeons
. While
these changes were later reverted
as a result of unforeseen bugs, it appears that Blizzard will continue to limit dungeon boosting in the future. That leads us to today's topic -
should boosting be allowed in Classic+?
What We Want From Classic+
One of the most commonly enjoyed aspects of Classic WoW is the world of Azeroth and the leveling journey as we progress through each zone. However, while many players cheered on the recent anti-boosting measures in TBC Anniversary, it must be acknowledged that
dungeon boosting has been a staple of the game since the early days
of original Vanilla.
Some speculate that Blizzard is attempting to remove this activity from TBC Anniversary servers for bot-prevention and anti-RMT purposes. Bots are known to constantly solo-farm dungeons for materials, vendor items, or raw gold. Additionally, purchasing dungeon boosts with gold can be a sign that players bought gold with real money from an illicit site.
Of course, this is not true of every player. Paladins and Mages are capable of solo-farming dungeons for gold, and legitimate players suffered as a result of the recent changes. Similarly, players who have farmed gold legitimately may wish to spend that gold on in-game activities, such as purchasing materials from the auction house to level a profession or pay for portal services. Dungeon boosting is also among the legitimate services that players have historically paid in-game gold for.
While real players should not be punished for actions taken by bots and gold sellers, the question remains,
how should Blizzard handle boosting
in the next version of Classic? Should players be required to level in the open world? Should there be a daily cap on individual dungeons, similar to how there is on Hardcore servers? Or should there be no restrictions at all, and Blizzard should allow players to play however they want? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
