NA First Full 9/9 AQ40 Clear by Rise on Netherwind

Rise on Netherwind, while not the first guild to enter AQ40 and defeat C'Thun, is the first NA guild to kill all nine bosses in Classic Ahn'Qiraj!
<ONSLAUGHT> raced to C'thun
, downing the boss in 38 minutes, but left four bosses undefeated. While most of the optional bosses fell over quickly, an unexpected challenge arose in
Viscidus
. <ONSLAUGHT> lost their world buffs after wiping to the encounter, and then had to zone out and take a significant break to sort out Nature Resistance gear and Frost Damage weapons.
Viscidus is unique because the fight revolves around freezing and shattering the boss multiple times, and once shattered, the raid will need to focus down blobs throughout the room, which reduces the boss's health a significant amount when killed.
While <Rise> cleared to C'Thun slightly faster than <ONSLAUGHT>, this alone didn't make up for the massive time discrepancy between Skeram and Netherwind's gong ringing, as <Rise> defeated Skeram 44 minutes after <ONSLAUGHT> due to the gating.
<Rise> really made up for lost time by smoothly clearing the optional bosses, downing Viscidus with 0 wipes while <ONSLAUGHT> had to zone out and prep more gear, consumables, and enchants. <Fusion>, the 2nd NA guild to kill C'Thun, also had some
wipes to Viscidus
but still pulled ahead of <ONSLAUGHT> too for the 2nd overall clear, nine minutes after <Rise>.
