Season of Discovery Phase 8 is now live! Here is everything you need to know about Season of Discovery's latest content phase!
Season of Discovery Phase 8 Overview
New Avalon
Season of Discovery Phase 8 brings a new zone known as New Avalon, teeming with Scarlet Crusaders. Players will be granted the opportunity to disguise themselves as Scarlet Crusaders, thanks to the new patterns and armor introduced in Phase 8, to infiltrate the zone.

New Avalon Entrance
Sporting the Scarlet Crusader armor pieces, players will be able to learn the truth about the citizens and tradesmen within New Avalon, opening up even more content to explore. This includes things such as Profession recipes, lore to uncover, and new rewards!
The Scarlet Enclave Raid
In Phase 8, players will also be able to conquer a new Raid that has been teased for a while now, the Scarlet Enclave. With eight bosses, some of which will be quite nostalgic for long-time players and new Class Sets to earn, this will be a Raid that everyone should get a glimpse of, at least once.

The Scarlet Enclave Raid will go live on April 10th, and is tuned for a minimum of 20 players, but can also be done with up to 40 players.
Legendary Weapon
Easily one of the most iconic weapons for long-time players, the
Verderbter Aschenbringer
is finally making its way into Season of Discovery with a bit of a twist. Phase 8 will bring an entirely new questline to earn this Legendary weapon, and it can be used by Warriors, Hunters, and Paladins.

Profession Updates
As we infiltrate the Scarlet Crusade, we will need to equip
Scarlet Military
sets to disguise ourselves and gain entry. The new recipes will drop from Elite mobs in New Avalon and are tradeable, meaning you can either grind Elite's and get the recipes or purchase them on the Auction House.

To travel around New Avalon without being detected by the Scarlet Crusaders, players will need to equip at least four pieces of the new set, as well as the
Scharlachrotes Insigne
. You will also need the new craftable pieces to obtain the new Scarlet Enclave class sets, as they will be turned in together with a
Kelch des des Kreuzzüglers
.
Game Mode Option Feature
Upon logging in to Season of Discovery after Phase 8 has gone live, you will notice a new menu at the top of the screen filled with options. The feature will allow you to choose which version of World of Warcraft Classic you would like to play while in-game, rather than from the Battle.net app.

There will be minor changes coming to the

in Phase 8, allowing you to carry a maximum of 250 rather than 150. You will also be able to purchase the Blackwing Lair Class Weapon quests for 150

This lets you experience the unique questlines for your class and grants you a very powerful class-specific weapon at the end of each one.
