In today's guide spotlight we will highlight our new Temple of Atal'Hakkar Strategy Guide, written by Quissy. The guide covers everything you need to know about Sunken Temple (or ST), including how to reach the instance, bosses, loot, quests in the dungeon (including many Class-specific quests) and more.

ST is a 5-player dungeon located in the middle of the Pool of Tears, in the Swamp of Sorrows. Within the decrepit temple you will find many green dragons, and deep within it, the dungeon entrance. Temple of Atal'Hakkar is intended for levels 50-55 players.
Temple of Atal'Hakkar is one of the dungeons with most bosses in Classic WoW, with a grand total of 15 bosses. The temple is divided into three sections:
The lower portion of the Temple is unlocked from the beginning of the dungeon, and players must unlock statues in a certain order to trigger the
Atal'alarion
boss.
The upper portion of the Temple is also unlocked from the beginning of the dungeon, and this part contains balconies with 6 mini-bosses, which must be defeated to open the main part of the Temple.
After all 6 mini-bosses are defeated, the middle portion of the Temple opens, with 7 of the remaining bosses:
Jammal'an der Prophet
and
Ogom der Elende
,
Wirker
and
Traumsense
,
Hazzas
and
Morphaz
, and the
Eranikus' Schemen
.
The final boss, the
Avatar von Hakkar
, is only available to players who have completed a special questline, starting very far away, in Feralas.
The instance is the source of many good level 50+ pieces of gear, perfect for players preparing for the final portion of their level grinding. Sunken Temple is also very popular as all classes receive class-specific quests at level 50 to go there, each quest offering powerful class-specific items. You can check
