Legion Invasions
are extremely popular this week so we're highlighting some interesting parts of the event: cinematics and hidden secret vendors. To learn more about the event, check out our
event guide
; we've been updating it since yesterday with new findings.
Hidden Broken Shore Items
Whether you're rushing to complete the Broken Shore scenario to access Nethershard vendors or are still reeling from the emotional cinematics, take a moment to visit these NPCs and collect their unique items before you complete the scenario on your next alt. You won't be able to get their items once you complete the scenario.
You must be level 98+ and on the Broken Shore questline, before boarding the boat in
Battle for the Broken Shore
to see these NPCs. As Demon Hunters cannot complete the Broken Shore, they can never see these NPCs. However, the toys and cosmetic armor are account-wide, so Demon Hunters can use these items.
Horde
Fo'rum der Postmacher
by the Draonsh'ar Blockade sells
Pfosten des Zorns
,
Pfosten des Glücks
. and
Pfosten des Nachsinnens
for each. Put these posts down on the ground to show your true feelings; or mail them to a friend.
Ravika
by Bladefury's Dock sells highly sought-after items from Patch 5.3: the cosmetic item
Gaunahs authentische Trollschuhe
and toys
Ganzkörperschrumpfa
,
Geistertrommel von Sen'jin
, and
Xan'tishs Flöte
.
Patch 5.3 introduced the limited-time
Battlefield Barrens Event
which chronicled the Kor'kron's rise to power in Orgrimmar. Northern Barrens was taken over by Kor'kron camps and elites, while the Valley of Spirits in Orgrimmar was shut down. You can learn about the event in our
Patch 5.3 Battlefield Barrens Guide
.
As part of the event, players could turn in Kor'kron supplies for various armor and toys, so it's great to see some of these items make a return.
Gaunahs authentische Trollschuhe
: Cosmetic invisible shoes which can be transmogged onto any armor type.
Ganzkörperschrumpfa
: Head-shrinking is for amateurs. Shrink your whole body!
Geistertrommel von Sen'jin
: Summon a set of three spirit drums that anyone can play.
Xan'tishs Flöte
: Call wild snakes to follow you for 1 min.
Alliance
Lenny "Finger" McCoy
at Stormwind Harbor sells
Glückshemd
and the flavor items
Alte Glücksmünze
,
Glückbringender Rattenzahn
, and
Glücksbringer
. The shirt is the only replica of
Feines Stoffhemd
, an old reward from a removed quest.
There is a fourth hidden item requiring Stage 6 of the Broken Shore for Alliance:
Alainas Häubchen
Pick up
Verkohltes Medaillon
from the Ashes of a Fallen Crusader in Stage 6.
Complete the Broken Shore scenario and
Die Schlacht um die Verheerte Küste
.
Head to Eastvale Logging Camp and give the locket to
Alaina Herdlied
inside the house at 85, 67.
Briefly leave and return to the house, and on the 2nd floor you can loot the Bonnet.
An Alliance character is required to loot the bonnet, but Horde can transmog into it once acquired.
Blizzard developer Muffinus stated on Twitter that the inspiration for this item was the
White Messenger Ribbon
from Bloodborne.
Broken Shore Cinematics
All during Legion beta, players would complete the Broken Shore scenario but wonder what the missing cinematics held. These cinematics are now viewable in-game during the Broken Shore scenario, and we've uploaded them in case you want to rewatch them, or aren't high-enough level to experience the Broken Shore. We've also added the cinematics to our
Broken Shore Quest Walkthrough
.
Warning: major lore spoilers
ahead.
