This week was full of many triumphs as several hardcore players finally made their way to level 60 after months of setbacks. While they celebrated their successes, other hardcore players were not as fortunate, as they lost focus and succumbed to the darkness.

During a Scholomance run,
Barny Beekeeper
heard the call of the void and decided to leap into battle against a dangerous group of trash mobs that have devastating melee AoE capabilities. To try to down the enemies as fast as possible, Barny used a
Goblinsche Pioniersprengladung
, which finished off many of the enemies, but unfortunately, the backdraft was too much for her to handle.
While
Grubby had a close call
against
Sian-Rotam
, he eventually made it to level 60 on his Druid. After a
celebratory song
, Grubby's guildmates asked him to

, where they had a very special surprise waiting for him.
Earlier in his hardcore journey,

As a part of her level 60 ceremony,
AnnieFuchsia
decided to avenge the loss of
Xaryu's Lastmonk

s. Luckily, these green mobs did not pose much of a threat, as Annie defeated them to reach level 60 on her controller-only Warrior.
In an Upper Blackrock Spire run,
pinkwardplays
made the unfortunate decision to jump around in The Rookery, which spawned several

s. While not usually an issue, most of the team was far ahead of him, as he became overwhelmed.
Known for her level 1 Soulsborne challenges,
Stormfall33
also reached level 60 on her Druid after two months and zero deaths.
After
dying at level 60
on his Warlock,
Rengawr
decided to try his luck as a Mage instead. While AoE-farming in Zul'Farrak, Rengawr became trapped in what he thought was a safe spot. While he was able to maneuver his way to the dungeon's exit, his character was ultimately struck down at level 49.
Finally, after several
deaths
and
close calls
,
PopsBarnGrill
made it to level 60 on his Shaman!
