in Wrymrest Temple, you are sent to the Bronze Dragonshire to determine the leader of the Infinite Dragonflight. This dragonflight has created a time storm which prevents immortals such as Chromie from entering.
Dragonblight is a wintery zone, punctuated by vibrant Dragonshires that reflect the mood of each—-Ruby, Azure, Emerald, Bronze, Obsidian.
Once at the Bronze Dragonshire, you’ll place the
Your “Future You’ is an NPC dressed identically to you, which helps fight. Future You is very talkative:
Future You whispers: Hey there, <name>, don't be alarmed. It's me... you... from the future. I'm here to help.
Future You whispers: Heads up... here they come. I'll help as much as I can. Let's just keep them off the hourglass!
Future You whispers: No matter what, you can't die, because would mean that I would cease to exist, right? But, I was here before when I was you. I'm so confused!
Future You whispers: Wish I could remember how many of the Infinite Dragonflight were going to try to stop you. This fight was so long ago.
Future You whispers: Wow, I'd forgotten how inexperienced I used to be.
Future You whispers: Look at you fight; no wonder I turned to drinking.
Future You whispers: I can't believe that I used to wear that.
Future You whispers: What? Am I here alone. We both have a stake at this, you know!
Future You whispers: Listen. I'm not supposed to tell you this, but there's going to be this party that you're invited to. Whatever you do, DO NOT DRINK THE PUNCH!
Future You whispers: Sorry, but Chromie said that I couldn't reveal anything about your future to you. She said that if I did, I would cease to exist.
Future You whispers: Look, <name>, the hourglass has revealed Nozdormu!
Future You whispers: Farewell, <name>. Keep us alive and get some better equipment!
There is a later quest,
, where you’ll return to the Bronze Dragonshire and be assisted by Past You:
Past you whispers: Whoa! You're me, but from the future! Hey, my equipment got an upgrade. Cool!
Past you whispers: Here come the Infinites! I've got to keep the hourglass safe. Can you help?
Past you whispers: Chromie said that if I don't do this just right, I might wink out of existence. If I go, then you go!
Past you whispers: This equipment looks cool and all, but couldn't we have done a little better? Are you even raiding?
Past you whispers: Wait a minute! If you're here, then that means that in the not-so-distant future I'm going to be you helping me? Are we stuck in a time loop?
Past you whispers: I just want you to know that if we get through this alive, I'm making sure we turn out better than you. No offense.
Past you whispers: What the heck? Nozdormu is up there!
Past you whispers: I feel like I'm being pulled through time. Thanks for the help….
During the vision in
, Nozdormu is revealed as the leader of the Bronze Dragonshire, but Chromie discounts it because it seems unlikely.
It is later revealed that Nozdormu is stuck in time, trying to discover what force was responsible for the tragedies that have befallen the Dragonflights. While stuck in time, he sees himself as the leader of the Infinite Dragonflight in one possible timeline, which explains the vision.
Players later defeat this alternate version of

When you defeat
says the following:
Nozdormu says: All that matters... is this moment.
Nozdormu says: At last it has come to pass. The moment of my demise. The loop is closed. My future self will cause no more harm.
Nozdormu says: I see you've arrived. This is the eve of the sundering, when the collapse of the Well of Eternity fractured the continents of the world.
Nozdormu says: Still, in time, I will... fall to madness. And you, heroes... will vanquish me. The cycle will repeat. So it goes.
Nozdormu says: What matters is that Azeroth did not fall; that we survived to fight another day.
Nozdormu says: You must give peace to these lands if you are to face Murozond.
Nozdormu is also present in the
raid. Along with the other Aspects, Nozdormu battled against Deathwing and used all of his remaining power to prevent Deathwing’s death from being undone in an alternate timeline. After Deathwing is defeated, Nozdormu and the other Aspects become mortal, drained of their magic.

High Overlord Saurfang yells: Kor'kron, move out! Champions, watch your backs! The Scourge have been...
Deathbringer Saurfang yells: Join me, father. Join me and we will crush this world in the name of the Scourge. For the glory of the Lich King!
High Overlord Saurfang says: My boy died at the Wrathgate. I am here only to collect his body!
Deathbringer Saurfang yells: Stubborn and old. What chance do you have? I am stronger and more powerful than you ever were!
High Overlord Saurfang says: We named him Dranosh. It means "Heart of Draenor" in Orcish. I would not let the warlocks take him. My boy would be safe, hidden away by the elders of Garadar.
High Overlord Saurfang says: I made a promise to his mother before she died: that I would cross the Dark Portal alone - whether I lived or died, my son would be safe. Untainted...
High Overlord Saurfang says: Today, I fulfil that promise.
Deathbringer Saurfang yells: Pathetic old orc. Come then heroes, come and face the might of the scourge!
High Overlord Saurfang says: You will have a proper ceremony in Nagrand next to the pire of your mother and ancestors.
High Overlord Saurfang says: Honor young heroes, no matter how dare the battle. Never forsake it!
High Overlord Saurfang says: No col kil zilnok atal.
Deathbringer Saurfang yells: For every Horde soldier that you killed, for every Alliance dog that fell, the Lich King's armies grew. Even now the Val'kyr work to raise your fallen... As scourge.
Deathbringer Saurfang yells: Things are about to get much worse. Come, taste the power that the Lich King has bestowed upon me!
Muradin Bronzebeard yells: A lone orc, against the might of the Alliance? Charge!
Deathbringer Saurfang yells: Hahahaha! Dwarves.
High Overlord Saurfang says: Behind you lies the body of my only son. Nothing will keep me from him.
Muradin Bronzebeard says: Don't force my hand, orc. We can't let you pass.
Muradin Bronzebeard says: He... I can't do it. Get back on your ship and we'll spare your life.
King Varian Wrynn says: Stand down, Muradin. Let a grieving father pass.
High Overlord Saurfang says: I will not forget this kindess. I thank you, highness.
King Varian Wrynn says: I... I was not at the Wrathgate. But the soldiers who survived told me much of what happened. Your son fought with honor. He died a hero's death. He deserves a hero's burial.
Lady Jaina Proudmoore cries.
King Varian Wrynn says: Jaina, why are you crying?
Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: It was nothing, your majesty. Just... I'm proud of my king.
King Varian Wrynn says: Muradin, secure the deck and prepare our soldiers for an assault on the Upper Citadel. I'll send out another regiment from Stormwind.
Muradin Bronzebeard says: Let's get the move then. Move out!
