Classic Item Stat Filters Added to Wowhead's Database

We're pleased to announce a first round of filters for Classic Wowhead's database--item stats. Filter for items with
Fire Resistance
,
Spell Hit
,
Daggers Skill
, and more!
While filters are less popular in Battle for Azeroth due to the Titanforge RNG component on all items, filters are very useful for Classic WoW as players worked towards completing specific sets of gear.
In addition to filtering by stats, you can combine a stat filter with other qualifiers like required level, armor type, quality, BoE/BoP, armor slot, and name. For example, you can search for
Mail Armor level 55 and above, with 10+ Agility and 1% Melee Hit
,
Cloth Chest Armor with Fire Damage
,
items with negative stamina
, or
all consumables with a health gain
to narrow results further.
We have plans to keep improving our database filters and will be taking a look at the Classic spell filters next. As more people use the
Wowhead Client
, and we gather more data on NPC locations, drops, reputation rewards, and experience, those related filters will improve as well. Note that some test items added by Blizzard, like
Test Hit Chance Chest
, appear in results even though they can't be obtained--we will be hiding them from results closer to launch.
