BlizzPro BlizzCon Interview: Hunter Class Mount Unlocks Ability to Tame "Beasts With Wings"
We thought we'd wrapped up BlizzCon coverage but there's one more bit of revealed information!
on Petopia found an interview from BlizzPro revealing that when Hunters unlock their Class Mount in 7.2, they will also unlock the ability to tame “beasts with wings" such as gryphons. You can check out all of the
gryphon and hippogryph models
at Petopia--we'd love to see some of the Frayfeather models be pets!
And with this interview, it looks like Muffinus' cryptic tweet from last week has been solved.
The BlizzPro interview with Brian Holinka and Michael Bybee covered a few other Legion topics, which we've highlighted below:
The current plan for PvP Brawls is to have the Brawl mode last a week, with a week off in between events to keep things fresh. Keeping things around for just a week can add spice to the game.
The core message for Legion at BlizzCon is that Blizzard is always planning something new, emphasizing that there is content coming out on a regular basis.
There may be more micro-holidays on the way, what players initially see is likely what is designed to span 7.1.5 and 7.2. (Note: this was said before 7.1.5 datamining started, so information could have changed since then.)
In addition to dropping the news about Hunter tames tied to the mount unlock, it was revealed that once you unlock your initial mount, you can purchase the different colors if your spec is eligible for one (eg arcane, fire, and frost Mage mounts all have different details, Rogue specs do not).
