This totem was designed to be used with high amounts of +Healing and a really low level of Lesser Healing Wave. It's really silly considering they just made the change to healing/damage coefficients.

Totems, Idols and Librams are a great source of extra abilities only available to a few certain other classes in replace of a secondary ranged weapon.

It's not all that bad. If you're chain-casting LHW, that's up to 33 mana per 5 seconds. Situational, but considering that relics can be swapped out in combat, it's worth having.

Sure LHW highest rank costs 380mana with talent its 5% cheaper so now it will cost 361mana that is 19 mana cheaper for 5 talent points,

But shamans dont forget we can go down in healing ranks and cast for example LHW rank rank 4 wich costs 235 mana again with those 5 talent points around 223mana with this totem 10mana cheaper per cast wich will be 213mana per cast....that is an additional 4.5% cheaper so it isnt that bad really, it can be usefull like for example twins in aq40....or just anywhere where you really need to preserve as much mana as you can.

Now you can think of it another way as well in comparison to other items like for example mana/5sec, in 5 seconds you can cast 3 LHW any rank that is 3-30 mana saved (or regained) wich is an average of 16mana and 16mana/5sec is very very good....how many of us still wants shard of the scale?

It's still up to 10mana, in other words 1-10mana per cast regained. Kinda same as if it reduced the mana cost by up to 10, and that hardly seems like something thats worth an epic status. seems to me like the scholo totem is more usefull than this epic one.. :\

The way I understand it is that up to on this item works the same as up to on +dmg and healing, etc.

The effect of this is that if LHW was a 3 sec cast you would gain 10 mana. LHW is a 1.5 sec cast, so any rank LHW would gain you 5 mana.

5 mana regen / 1.5 sec is pritty awsome if you're planning to use LHW and spam cast it.

It is 1-10 mana depending on the rank of lesser healng wave cast, like the other guys said above rank 1 = 1 mana less highest rank = 10 mana less

If it always saves 10 mana it's approximately as mana efficient as using the blue +53 healing totem. If it had 15 mana saved it would be as good as the epic +80 healing totem. If it had 20-25 mana saved it would deserve to be in Naxxramas.

Someone at Blizzard must have done his or her calculations wrong when setting the stats for it.

Oh for crying out loud... compare this 1 with the druid one: 长寿神像 and the paladin one: 光明圣契 ... guess who got the longest straw this time ...? personally I'd stick with 活力神像 or 健康神像 -.- gg blizz

Droped already several times for us and no shamy wanted it, because even the rare +53heal for lesser healing wave totem makes more sense than this "disenchantloot"
