There has been an interesting discussion on my server about the right enchant for this excellent healing weapon.

I can't speak for the Druids and Priests, but for Paladins, if you manage to get this weapon, +22 intellect is the best enchant for it - especially if you are spec'ed into 5/5 Holy Guidance, which gives you a spell damage & healing bonus of 35% of your total intellect.

While that only gives you +11.9 healing and damage for this one particular weapon, you'll really see the difference in your raid gear & fully buffed.

I still prefer the raw healing with the +55 enchant, provides a direct supplement to spells regardless of Talents.

Great weapon for Priests, Shaman, Druids, and Paladins.

Drops off Grand Widow Faerlina, a boss in the spider wing of Naxx.

For all you priests that think you should get this over a paladin...never ever ever argue about paladins getting cloth gear that you want. IMHO the pure healer with the most DKP should get this. Only holy priests, holy paladins, and resto druids.

All healers can benefit from it...and saying that priests should get it first since they should get first priority on all healing items is insane...you should seriously start end game raiding more then because paladins and druids heal for just as much as priests at end game.

-for all you horde, just substitute shaman for pally...all healers can benefit from this

Got The Widow's Embrace the other day... nice healer mace for any healer class. this combo gives me in +healing:

tWE (mainhand): 161 +healing
Enchant: 55 +healing
LotL (offhand): 53 +healing
__________________________________
Tottal +heal: 269
==================================

269 +healing
+12 Stamina
+12 Intellect
+14 Spirit
3 mana /5ec (offhand)

This is quite good considering the fact that there is quite a few better offhands to choose from.

All i can say is this with +55 healing combined with Hammer of Twisting Nether also with +55 healing == Easy raid healing on shamans.
Bout time blizzard got something right.

yea... obviosly blizz gets nothing rght thats how come 12649815491672359834 ppl play this game and pay for it out of their ass. T_T

but yea... 509 with wepons -> full t3 is 412. with no enchants.

with trinkets n rings n such it would be easy to get 1000+ healing. (not that getting ne of this &*!@ is easy)

only problem is u cant go more then 30 points into the resto tree. but with this much heals it seems worth it if u can get the gear.

That mace is pretty sweet looking, I'd be impressed if I saw a pally, priest, or druid walking aroud with it.

Mace is amazing, still using it at 70. Mp5 would be nice, and the 14 spirit isn't too great, but mixxed with a great offhand, this thing is beastly.

Lots of +healing, almost as good as the cthun mace, a common drop and easy to get since the widow is easy sauce. ;p

This is true priest mace because it has spirit :) Druids/shammys/pallys can look for 虚妄预言者节杖 . That's more benefit to those classes, since they don't need so high spirit.

Awesome mace for all healers.

14 spirit is not gonna make or break as a druid / priest priority, 161 healing is just too much to deny to hand it to a Paladin. Got it last night, and couldn't be happier :) (<-- Paladin btw.)

Awesome for classes like Paladin,Shamans,Druids and Priests. Too bad there isnt mp regen. But is awesome. Too bad i cant get it yet ^^

This hammer has one of the highest +healing in the game. I wouldnt care what it looked like, I would use it.

got it with druid, since that prophet mace never dropps for us... dont care if its better for priests couse of 14 spirit :D

It dropped for us three times in a row. Its like a 1% chance for that to happen. And on the third time it was finally my turn to get it after all dkp-saving. :) I'm a happy druid! Quite an upgrade from Shadow Wing Focus Staff.
