One of the two best wands in game (other comes from Kel'Thuzad, https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=22821), difference between both being based mostly on personnal preference between, trading +7 stamina/intellect for +4 spell damage and +1% to hit for +1% to crit. This wand drops from Patchwerk, the first boss of the Abomination wing in Naxxramas.

Very good wand and a good replacement for Touch of Chaos, and the +hit is golden for Frost mages.

A minor upgrade over wand of quiraji nobility, but a wand upgrade is never really major. Very nice wand overall.

you also have to take into account how hard it is to determine magic DPS from spells, like a warlock like mysplf will have 2-4 DoTs up and be blasting away with spells and a pet...

Mages are one of the highest DPS classes of the game but its hard to figure out magic DPS.

Also keep in mind rogues wield 2 weapons, and if they are combat specced with improved dual wield they do plenty of damage with both weapons, so you ahve to add dps because they ahve 2 weapons, so they might do more damage than someone using this wand.

i reallllly dont wanna hear stuff about casters being overpowered because they have a 113 dps wand =P

And physical damage = dodged/blocked/parried. Magic compares pretty well to physical from what I've seen.

This is the highest DPS on any weapon on Alla at the mo... but by the time you take into account all of the attack power added to melee and stuff, the actual DPS of some weapons will beat this.
