Damn nice caster weapon. Especially when combined with the off-hand that twin emps drops, which gets you the same net stam as Staff of shadow flame.

Let's compare:

Wraith Blade + Sapphiron's Left Eye

or

Soulseeker

The Wraith Blade + Sapphiron's Left Eye reach a total of 121 +dmg, 2% hit and 2% crit, 22 stamina and 16 intellect while the Soulseeker reaches a total of 126 +dmg, 2% crit, 25 decrease of magical resistance, 30 stamina and 31 intellect.

The decrease of magical resistance is basicly not needed in endgame raiding and in PvP it's quite useless as well. The total +dmg is only 5 more and Soulseeker has a total of 8 stam and 15 int more.

To get the full 99% hit with spells (can't get more than 99%) you'll need atleast 16% hit for bosses. As few ppl have 16% hit the Wraith Blade + Sapphiron off hand is actually better. Due to the 2% hit it gives the total +dmg would be more than the Soulseeker.

And meh, who cares about stats these days ;p

This is currently the best caster one-hand in the game. End of. Also drops from Maexxna who is possibly the easiest boss in Naxx after 2.0.1.

This is easily the best 1 handed caster weapon in the game at the moment. It has the highest 1 hander damage of 95 and it also has 1% crit and 1% hit with some decent stats. Combine this with a nice offhand such as Sapphirons Left Eye: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=23049 and you are unstoppable. This item is with out a doubt the best pickup for a casting class.

guys youre arguing over nothing NOTHING in terms of who can use it and who cant paladins can get way better items for healing then wraithblade so forget it and mages and warlocks should get top priority of this item over all other classes i would waist all my dkp just for this item unless if i had tier 3 drops before then then i would use it all up for those multiple drops anways all im saying is that u are talking about nothing pretty much so STFHU to all u pallys that say u need it because u dont and when was the last time u saw a holy specced priest too so they dont really need it before the locks/mages too

Dropped tonight for Circle of Assassins on Stormrage. Bowman, a mage got it for the DKP equivilant to about... 22 full BWL runs or 55 MC runs or 19 four-hour nights learning Naxx.
