Fore sure, this is the highest ammount of +Damage/Healing on a belt you'll find in the game right now. Sadly, you'd think Frostfire or Plagueheart might come a little closer to this... But, this isn't easily attainabble either!

Cthun just keeps on giving the best caster items in the game! Don't you just love him.. get this over Frostfire if your building a spell damage set and don't want Tier 3 or have it.

Yeah, this is definitely something to save DKP for. It should also hold up quite well in the expansion for a while since it is just so good.

Yeah, I agree. C'Thun has a vary wide range of caster items in general. It's a nice change really.

Smellysocks brought up a good point. This is not that easy to obtain. It is surprising how many guilds actually skip C'Thun and go straight to Naxx. C'Thun is hard to learn, but it is truly worth it in my opinion. His loot is equivalent to Naxxramas. It requires everyone paying attention and being on their toes. Once you have the organization down though, it goes smoothly.

Indeed C'thun is a very hard encounter, my guild skipped C'thun untill we got 2 months in Naxxramas. When he had a good amount of gear from Naxxramas, C'thun dropped easily.

This is the best "random damage" belt in the game at the moment and I can safely say that I will be wearing it into the level 70 instances.

10 straight weeks of killing cthun and this drops 8 out of those 10 times, no dark edge, no 1h healing mace, no plate dps gloves or even the tanking neck for that matter. gg random loot table

Ironically this is an underpowered item.

It's effective iLvl is 'only' 78. A true ilvl 88 epic belt would be this:

Eyestalk Waist Cord
Binds when picked up
Waist
75 Armor
+15 Intellect
+15 Stamina
Requires Level 60
Equip: Improves your chance to get a critical strike with spells by 1%.
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 42.
