I personally feel this wand is almost overpowered to a degree, being a BOE blue from Aq20.

As a pure-stat alternative, you could consider the spider boss' wand from ZG: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=19927

As a side note, this wand used to shoot "physical" damage and had no casting animation. The damage was even reduced by the targets armor = )

Terrific wand for any healing class! Found in Ruins of An'Qiraj, but also check Auction Houses, as it is a BoE (Bind of Equip).

This is a really great priest wand. It as a decent amount of mana regen, int and healing. It is BoE as well.

It also sells for a good amount too if you somehow get your hands on it. Easily 200g-300g.

While there may be no resistance without having a magical school, it looks like there is damage mitigation ;)

We just got this off a trash mob. When the priest with it fires her wand, nothing happens. It doesnt shoot any bolts or anything. The no damage school thing is very wierd.

Yep, this does phyiscal damage which means it gets mitigated by armor. Even a cloth-wearing warlock is going to get around 20% vs this.

I got this wand on our first run at AQ 20. I talked to a GM about the lack of damage type and they are going to be fixing that in a future patch. It will probably be Nature damage.

yeah I got this yesterday and like previous posts mentioned it doesn't work right. was so bummed. your guy just stands there and then you see weak dmg go up by the mobs (85's). I hope they fix this soon!

I picked up one of these babies on AH for a mere 150 G. However, it doesn't seem to work! Might have to wait till the next patch or something.

Everybody complains about the "cookie cutter" armor and weapons, a bow is a bow is a bow and a wand is a wand is a wand, etc.
Blizz finally throws a monkeywrench into the works and suddenly two-thirds of the community gets their panties in a bunch.
Is something different and kind of funny (mind bullets ftw) really so bad?

Because this wand has no damage school, it has no animation, therefore they dont know where its coming from !
My NE priest goes into his surfing stance and the numbers keep rolling off their heads :P

Fixed in new patch. Animation and dmg school assigned, nature.

IMHO this wand is as good if not better for healing priest than just about any purple wand in the game. (Excludes new naxx wand)

I was farming aq with my hunter (great loot btw) and this beuti dropped. i was like, WOOW best healing wand in game ! =D, (except naxx one)

10 minutes after, ANOTHER dropped. I guess im just lucky eeh?

just picked this up off my first run of AQ 20, i beat out two other priests with a roll of 37, low rolls FTW
and yep its physical damage, unfortunately unless im going up against a magic user type mob this wand isnt going to be better dps than my bonecreeper stylus, infact tested it out on the first boss and i decided it was better to switch back to my bonecreeper stylus

and yes the wand animation is messed up, it may be that i was using one of my 3 other wands but i think the animation may work once in awhile but yes for the most part the animation really is messed up

I got this bad boy last night and I would say it is most certainly a priest wand, since no other wand user need's +healing!

Oh and yup, it does seem to be physical damage, and the animation is bugged on it, as nothing fire's, you just stand still and number's appear to come off mobs. Very Strange.

In all honesty I wanted:

Picked up this badboy on AH for 130g. Will due until Essence Gatherer =).

Who the #$%^ cares about the dps anw? Not like u'r using wand anw. Except for grinding that is, and for that i'v got my lovely Touch of chaos =).

Blizzard fixed the animation and damage type in 1.11 so it does Nature damage instead of physical damage. There is also animation when using the wand now, when before you would look like you were just standing there with nothing shooting from the wand.
