Don't you think receiving a polearm is very difficult? They are always for alliance and not for the horde.

This seems to be the base-level polearm, usable at the same level you're allowed to learn the skill.

For the Alliance it's sold right next to the weapons trainer that teaches Polearm skill (Woo Ping, Stormwind). I bet the same is true for the Horde.

Interesting that this has a higher DPS than impaling harpoon, a lv 20 green polearm.

I noticed that short spear makes some green weapons look like crap... or at least with DPS

I have this on my Hunter level 21, actually, Dual Wielding is better, a Polearm oes to many little DMG to be useful.
