I'd have my Pally wear it. So far demon dropped LF Boots on my first trip, and Crusader hammer on my second trip... I'm a lucky SOB with him, so maybe this will be the third charm :).

Don't hate me, Baron already does, 20 runs and haven't even SEEN Lightforge Legplates...

MAYBE a pally neck? This is THE neck to have for a pally IMO, aside from epics. There's nothing else with as good a balance of stats.

Why do some people always feel like they have to state who a particular item is best for and who it isn't? It seems like every item I search, it always starts, "This is best for Mage then Druid then Priest" or "WARRIOR ITEM!"...

I can't speak for everyone, but when I occasionally pull up an item, I would like to see helpful information:

How hard is the boss/quest?
Was it worth the effort?
Etc.

Agility does indeed increase the damage dealt by wands. It increases your crit rate and ranged attack power. More crits = more damage. More attack power = more damage.

What will people not say? "Int helps poison crit"

IF that were the case 9 int is .09% to crit... <sarcasm>that's reaaaaally gunna help</sarcasm> oh oh but wait when you mouse over your int w/ rogue I do not believe it says anything about helping your spell critical chance... maybe because you do not have spells? I know I don't. Just because it deals nature damage doesn't mean that it's not tied in with your base crit. Btw this item only has 7 agil that's 7 attack power and roughly .23% chance to crit ... wow .23. You know, you could do the quest for will of the martyr... and get a neck w/ +30 attack power... 30vs7?

Moving on who does this neck benefit the most? Indeed it is not one class and I wouldn't support the whole (<class> item!) type claims as they are definatly just selfish ppl trolling around thottbot claiming everything they want as only for their class.
This neck would best benefit Hunters, Paladins and Druids. Why?

Hunters: 7 agility is 14 ranged attack power (only 7 melee attack power for the rogues out there which is laughable) then we have the int and spirit both are totally useless to melee classes as we know that under most situations hit points do not regenerate in combat and outside of combat food works just fine.

Druids: 7 agility is now 7 attack power in cat form. Perhaps not as big a benefit as for the hunter in this department but then again you have the other stats one of which is spirit which I personally love on my druid, it benefits the druid and his/her party.

Paladins: paladins do their damage by means of melee where 7 attack power is a boosted crit chance which is nice, paladins benefit from the other 3 stats as well.

Shaman: do some melee and some casting also
so the same holds for them as for paladins

Now we move down in the priority tree.

Priests, warlocks, mages: the agility stat is wasted however they benefit from the rest of the stats perhaps non benefit from the spirit either as greatly as a druid would perhaps Gemshard heart would be more appropriate BUT nevertheless this could be considered appropriate for them.

That leaves us with warriors and rogues. Even though warriors crit chance from 1 agility is better than rogues. Neither of these classes would greatly benefit from the use of this item. Half of the stats are going to waste. Rogue only gains 7 ap and 90hp and .23%, more or less, crit chance. Warrior is gaining a but more % chance to crit than the warrior but no attack power from the agility and only 90 hit points. Will of the Martyr

This now has +1% to spell crit instead of the agility. Very nice neck piece for casters, and now I'm upset that I passed on it when it dropped yesterday(still was 1.9) being completely unaware of the change.

What's the difference between +1% hit and +1% crit? Which one is better?

+ hit with spells is way more valuable than + crit when in MC and other high level places where the mobs tend to be higher in level than you are as your chance to hit goes down the higher the mob is than you.

It was my first run to kill him. He was pretty easy and I was the only one who needed. -Mage.

Funny thing, some orb dropped 3 times in a row and I can sell each one for 40-50g. Btw. I won them all ^^,

if u think this item is for a hunter you should honestly consider uninstalling world of warcraft. this is meant for casters.

this is needed by priests coz in naxx u have to mc this bosses add so the add can tank him coz he hits for 25k health . the mc spell has a 3-4% res of the mob comeing out of the spell so priests had to have a 4% chance to hit with spells. if the mob comes out of mc the boss and his add will kill ever 1 in this raid sothere u go nive mone about priests needing this item coz all priest that do naxx will need a 4% chance to hit with spells and the 10 % of stoping ppl from resing shadow spell 1 of the shdow talen duse not work when the mob is in mc . and that gos with all mobs in the game

This item used to be more melee/hybrid oriented. they changed it, so people, stop complaining that hunter's shouldn't be rolling.

+1%crit on spells means improvement to seal of righteousness and seal of command so its still one of the best blue necks for paladins which use seal of command or do healing in raid.
ps. aye got respecced to get more useful buffs for raid, so I dont use crussader anymore

He dropped this for the first time today and a rogue won the roll. I was more than a little pissed (60 Pally). This is an excellent all-around pally necklace.
