Emerald Wardens Reputation Guide - Season of Discovery

The
is a hastily-organized group of Druids, working with both the Alliance and the Horde to stop the Nightmare Incursions. In this guide, we will cover how to gain reputation and obtain the rewards provided by the Emerald Wardens.

With Phase 3 of Season of Discovery, we have been introduced to a new type of Open World event called
Nightmare Incursions
. This event takes place across Azeroth at the four separate portals into the Emerald Dream, found in

These Emerald Portals are now accessible, transporting players into a realm of corruption where they will battle against treants, dragons, and other corrupt creatures. Players will encounter soloable enemies, as well as more powerful foes, which will require a group of players.
The Emerald Wardens have organized to combat these incursions, and as players fight the corruption they will gain reputation with the faction and be able to earn rewards.
Emerald Wardens Quartermaster Location
Quartermasters are located at the entrances of the Nightmare portal areas. There are four distinct quartermasters, but they all have the same inventory.
How to Gain Reputation
Reputation with the Emerald Wardens can be obtained by participating in Nightmare Incursions by completing quests provided by Field Captains. These Field Captains are found alongside the Quartermasters.
Additionally, at both the Hinterlands and Feralas incursions you can complete the daily quest
for a quick and easy 1000 reputation.
Nightmare Incursions Locations & Rotation
There are four zones where you can enter a portal to the Emerald Dream to participate in a Nightmare Incursion.
Each zone is tuned for a specific level range, as detailed below. All portals are active at all times, meaning you don't have to rotate between them, but simply choose the one that fits you best and grind your heart out.
Level 25:

- The Twilight Grove can be accessed by a path leading through the hills from the south.

- The portal stands in the northeastern corner of the zone.

- Travel just northeast of the Twin Colossals and you will find the portal.

Nightmare Incursions
Each zone has a Field Captain NPC (
,
,
and
) outside their respective dream portals. These NPCs will give you a starter quest, which will have you neutralize a number of Nightmare threats and make contact with an agent of the Emerald Wardens near the portal.
After completing this starter quest, you will have access to all Daily Quests. To complete these quests you must go through the Dream Portal and fulfill whatever goal you have been given. This could be to slay enemies, gather resources, or defeat a boss. For many of these missions it is recommended to have a group of three to five players.
As of Phase 4, the Nightmare Incursion quests are Daily Quests and no longer infinitely repeatable.
You can only complete each quest once per day. These Daily Quests also have a maximum level, after which you will no longer be able to obtain them. When you out-level one Incursion, you can head to the next. For the Feralas and Hinterlands Incursions, the max level is 53.
If you want to keep earning Reputation with the
after level 53, special repeatable versions of the Moonstones, Moon Dragon Scales, and Moonroot gathering quests are available. These quests reward no Experience or Gold, but are solely there for earning Reputation.

Emerald Chips
is a new currency available exclusively from Nightmare Incursion quests in the Hinterlands and Feralas. Each Mission in these zones rewards 1
, which can be spent on rewards at Revered and Exalted.
Reputation Rewards
The Emerald Wardens offer many reputation rewards at different standings. Not only are there rewards for level 50 players, but as the Nightmare Incursions are tuned for players from level 20-50 there's rewards for characters across that entire level range.
The reputation items can definitely be a bit of a grind, and leveling exclusively through Nightmare Incursions from 40 to 50 will likely only barely get you to Honored. While quests completed in Ashenvale and Duskwood grant around 75 Reputation, quests completed in Feralas and Hinterlands award 100 Reputation. For this reason it is strongly recommended that you bring a full group to complete quests as fast as possible.
One of the highlights is new 6-piece level 50 PvP sets, with Gloves, Boots and Shoulders available at Friendly, and Helmet, Chest and Legs available at Honored.
Rune Rewards
The Emerald Wardens have one rune for each class available for purchase. As of Phase 4, these no longer require reputation to purchase. You can see the list of them below.

Currently the highest amount of rep you can get from a quest is 75, which means if you get 75 per quest, you are looking at about 600 quests to get from neutral to exalted.

*Rune is purchased from Emerald Wardens upon reaching Friendly reputation.
1. Head to Bough Shadow around the Emerald Dream portal in Northeastern Ashenvale (or any other level appropriate dream portal)
2. Speak with Field Captain Hannalah (or other appropriate Field Captain)
3. Repeat quests for reputation (currently 75 per turn-in).
4. After receiving 3,000 reputation, you will receive Friendly reputation with the Emerald Wardens.
5. Purchase Rune from vendor near Field Captain.

I hope the Hunter PVP set isn't really Stam/Int. That seems like a mistake.
Checked the vendor and it is stam/int. *facepalm* Hopefully they fix this. Hadn't even looked at it, because I'm not level 50 just yet. Should hit it tomorrow.

currently at 401 emerald chips. it'd be great if they became account bound so I could send them to alts or if bliz added something to their rep vendor in P4 (mount, etc.)

When you out-level one Incursion, you can head to the next. For the Feralas and Hinterlands Incursions, the max level is 53.

This should probably say "the max level is 52." I'm currently lvl 53, have never been to Hinterlands before today, and Field Captain Korlian only has the 3 gather missions available "More Starshells" "More Star Lotus" "More Starsilver Ore."
I did all the daily quests for Ashenvale yesterday at lvl 50 without a hitch.

Levelled from 40-50 via Ashenvale Inc, when you get to 49 doing all the dailies in Ashenvale it won't be enough to hit 50 unless you've got rested exp. Moved to Hinterlands at 49, dinged 50 and definitely way easier in a group, tough slog but doable as a rogue, just be prepared to sit down and eat in between each fight.
