Not sure if they have different spawns. For me the STV one was on a stump next to the Mill. The Arathi one was in the east side barn.

Just a bit more info on the locations:

Arathi Highlands: 干草象鼻虫 can be found at all 3 farms: Northfold Manor (31,28), Dabyrie's Farmstead (54,58) and Go'Shek Farm (62,56).
Desolace: 剔肉蝎 have a handful of spawn locations within the Kodo Graveyard.
Stranglethorn Vale: 树栖狼蛛 can spawn on several of the tree stumps at the Venture Co. Base Camp.

To spot them easier: go to Options → Gameplay → Interface → Toggle "Critters and Companions" on.
To make them more obvious: go to Options → Accessibility → General → Adjust "Minimum Character Name Size" to your liking.

Make sure ur Bags are EMPTY , as it took me a while to get all 3 and when I gave them to her it just said " I can't carry any more " coz my Bags were full without realizing and I didn't end up receiving the Rune . . .

With Aspect of the Viper i dont recommend actually using this rune, but it'll be nice to collect for completionists.

If you cant find it but you can target it, use hunters mark on it and it will show its location on your minimap

If you try casting hunter's mark on a bug, and you get a line of sight error, try commanding your pet to attack it (and quickly recalling it). Your pet will turn and run towards the bug you've targeted to give you a hint!
