AQ20 Overview Guide
General Rajaxx Abilities and Strategy
General Rajaxx himself is a relatively simple fight, with the main challenge being to conserve enough resources for the boss itself after dealing with so many waves.
Rajaxx's most dangerous ability is
雷霆碰撞
, a zone-wide AoE knockback that he uses very frequently. To help mitigate Thundercrash's knockback, everyone in the raid must keep their backs against a wall. This knockback wipes all threat from everyone when it happens and deals half of the raid's current health in damage (minimum 100).
If Andorov and/or his Kaldorei Elite survive to this point of the encounter, Thundercrash is very trivial, as Andorov himself will heal everyone but the Tanks above the minimum threshold to survive Thundercrash. If Andorov is dead, Healers must keep the entire raid above 100 health at all times. Andorov and his Kaldorei Elite are immune to Thundercrash.
Once Thundercrash happens, Andorov will immediately get aggro from the boss, and the Tanks must try to steal it back as soon as possible, as Andorov cannot tank the boss for long.
Rajaxx's second and last ability of note is a simple threat dump. Rajaxx will yell "You are not worth my time, <player>." when this threat dump happens. As before, if Andorov is alive, he will take aggro from Rajaxx and the Tanks must get aggro back from him as soon as possible. If Andorov is dead, both Tanks need to be healed up and prepared to take Rajaxx's aggro back as soon as this yell happens. As the entire raid will be low on health for most of the fight, any misplaced aggro will likely result in a one-shot.
General Rajaxx's Gauntlet
Before engaging with Rajaxx himself, your raid will need to engage with waves of mobs sent in your direction by Rajaxx himself.
Lieutenant General Andorov
After Kurinnaxx is dead, five NPCs will spawn and run deeper into the instance:

Do not talk with Andorov
, as talking with him will start the encounter! Andorov and his Kaldorei Elite will help you through the encounter. Andorov will heal the entire raid for 200 health every 3 seconds with

, as well as granting a 10% Attack Power and Casting Speed increase to everyone in the group who is neutral or higher with the Cenarion Circle. This healing from Andorov can be further amplified by a Mage's

Andorov and his Kaldorei Elite also deal significant amounts of damage, but because of this, they can take aggro from your Tanks with relative ease. Healers must do all they can to keep the NPCs alive, especially Andorov. Although any NPCs dying does not result in an instant wipe, it makes the encounter significantly harder, especially by losing Andorov's passive healing.
Once your group is ready to start the encounter, talk with Andorov. He will do a short RP, then waves of mobs will spawn.
The Gauntlet Itself
The mobs summoned by General Rajaxx will move towards the raid in waves. Each wave will contain several

s, which should be CC'd, as well as a named mini-boss with a specific ability. Needlers are fragile but deal a lot of damage, while Warriors deal less damage and have more health.
The raid has 3 minutes to kill each wave before the next one is sent out, and if you're fast enough, you will have time for some passive mana regeneration. There are 7 waves in total before Rajaxx himself engages the raid in combat.
The best strategy for the gauntlet is to assign crowd control to classes with long CCs, such as Mages and Warlocks, and focus on the mini-boss of the wave. After the mini-boss is dead, slowly break and kill the CC'd targets.

. Ranged DPS and Healers should stay away from Qeez, while Melee need to be careful about the fear.

that he casts in the area around him. This can be especially dangerous if Andorov is caught in the Hurricane. If this happens, the Tanks need to get aggro on Drenn and move him away from the Hurricanes, so Andorov will follow him and get moved safely out of the AoE.

ability that deals significant damage around him. Melee need to be especially careful with this wave, and it might be a good idea to have the Melee kill the trash mobs in the wave while the Ranged DPS take care of Xurrem.

that he casts on himself, leaving him immune to Physical damage for 5 seconds. Caster DPS need to be careful with threat in this wave, as Tanks have no way of generating threat during this. As the duration isn't very long, Melee can just wait it out before attacking Yeggeth again.

ability that deals significant damage and knocks back enemies in front of him. However, this is easily dealt with by tanking Pakkon against a wall to minimize the knockback, while melee stands behind him to avoid it completely.

that he can cast on both himself and the adds in his wave, which increases Physical damage done. This enlargement is dispellable and needs to be dispelled as soon as it happens.
After the seventh wave is defeated, General Rajaxx will make his way towards the raid.

Pay attention to what wave your raid is currently on, and be careful not to accidentally break any CCs.
Healers will need a lot of help conserving their mana, so if you have a window to bandage, do it!

This is a long fight, so MP5 and/or Spirit gear is very important, as well as abusing downranking spells to conserve mana. Bandaging also helps.
Focus must be on healing Andorov and his Kaldorei elite, but especially Andorov - His

makes your job that much easier!
Although the raid will be constantly at low health during Rajaxx himself, you do not need to panic-heal the entire raid—Thundercrash deals a minimum of 100 damage, so you only need to keep everyone (but the Tanks) above 100 health.
