How to Gear Your Shaman for Classic WoW PvP
When shifting focus from PvE to PvP, you should give higher priority to stats that are often neglected in PvE situations, such as Stamina and Armor, while still keeping core damage stats such as Strength, Agility and raw Attack Power as high as possible.

s will be looking for Stamina and Armor, to increase personal survivability, Intellect and Mp5 (to a lesser degree, also Spirit), to increase Mana sustainability and Strength / Agility / Critical Strike and Hit Chance to increase the potency of your attacks. Mind that in PvP, you will only need 5% extra Hit Chance to cap out. Up to 3% Spell Hit can also help with your offensive spells, such as

You will be able to put your PvE Weapons to good use in PvP, as you are looking for similar stats on it (mostly high damage range and DPS), but many of your armor options will be swapped from Leather gear to Mail gear, and do not even think about using green items with pure offensive stats, such as of the Tiger gear!

Standard Trinkets
These are a couple of trinkets that you can use for general purposes, they are very similar to what you would use in a standard PvE situation.
These trinkets are the best trinkets to wear in terms of raw stats, you'll want to use these trinkets while your "utility trinkets" and "engineering trinkets" are on cooldown.
Make sure to swap to Mp5 trinkets while moving from one place to another, in order to benefit from their Mana regeneration.
