Welcome to Wowhead's Classic Feral Druid Leveling Guide page. Feral is the most popular leveling spec build for Druids, as the spec provides the highest raw damage output as well as the best utility tools, while simultaneously giving the Druid the option to perform competitively as a tank in leveling dungeons. Note that despite speccing exclusively into DPS and tank talents, Feral Druids can still heal perfectly adequately while leveling as deep Feral spec, making it the no-brainer spec choice for being able to fill all three roles as needed in dungeon groups.
This guide covers specifics for leveling as a
Feral Druid
. If you'd like to learn more general Druid leveling information, or how to level as an alternative spec, check out with the following guides:

Leveling Overview for Feral Druid
Feral Druids are a hybrid spec that excels equally well at tanking in
熊形态
and dealing damage in
猎豹形态
. In practice, you will be performing both roles throughout your leveling process:
猎豹形态
is ideal for solo questing and open world farming, while tanking in
熊形态
is optimal in a dungeon setting.
Cat DPS Overview
Cat Druids achieve their peak leveling performance when killing mobs one at a time, possessing near infinite sustainability and lots of utility tools in the open world, but they struggle with handling multiple enemies at once due to their lack of AoE or cleave damage. Pure mob grinding in the open world is typically quite inefficient for leveling unless done in large AoE packs, so quests are the best avenue for leveraging a cat's strengths in single target damage. In vanilla WoW, the single target leveling experience for cats pretty much exclusively involves spamming the
ability and boosting its damage by stacking Strength and Agility on all your gear pieces. On top of this, Druids have multiple tools for pulling mobs from range, have a diverse healing toolkit for keeping themselves alive, and can pretty much always escape from sticky situations successfully.
The key talents to pick up for optimizing your solo leveling performance are
,
,
, and
. These form the backbone of your leveling toolkit, allowing you to pull mobs from range, kill them efficiently, and then run to the next mob quickly. The remainder of the talent tree supplements these core talents by enhancing the damage done by
or providing beneficial utility.
Bear Tanking Overview
Bear Druids achieve their peak leveling performance when tanking in 5-man dungeon groups, and many Druid players will level all the way to 60 exclusively in dungeons. Druid tanks bring a number of helpful utility tools to a dungeon group: the
buff,
激活
for healers and caster DPS, and the only combat resurrection spell in Classic WoW (
复生
). In vanilla WoW, the dungeon leveling experience for bears pretty much exclusively involves pulling mobs and then spamming the
and
abilities repeatedly for single target and cleave tanking situations, respectively.
The key talents to pick up for optimizing your dungeon leveling performance are
,
野性本能
,
, and
野性冲锋
. These form the backbone of your tanking toolkit, allowing you to pull enemies from range, generate immediate snap Threat on your kill target, and quickly intercept fleeing mobs. The remainder of the talent tree supplements these core talents by significantly enhancing the Threat generated by your abilities, improving your survivability, or providing beneficial group utility.
Leveling Viability for Feral Druid
Cat Leveling Viability
Feral DPS Druids are fantastic solo levelers, as they can deal a lot of burst damage to mobs by spending their Energy quickly, and then regenerate that Energy passively while running to the next mob. Cats are also given the
talent, which increases their movement speed by
30%
when outdoors, making it very efficient to run from mob to mob while completing open world quests. For intermediate travel distances, Druids also possess
旅行形态
for a further speed boost that can be activated instantly by shapeshifting rather than waiting to summon a mount. As melee damage dealers, cat Druids do not suffer from the downtime issues faced by other specs such as Mages and Elemental Shamans, since Energy regenerates very rapidly. Furthermore, as a hybrid class, a Feral Druid can pop out of form when low on health and heal up to full with their extensive healing toolkit, including healing over time (HoT) spells that can be "pre-cast" prior to engaging the next mob. The Mana spent on these heals is then slowly regenerated back to full while the druid is in back in
猎豹形态
for the next killing spree. As a result, cat Druids can level indefinitely with
absolutely no downtime
when killing mobs one at a time.
In contrast, cat DPS Druids are very mediocre dungeon levelers, so it is recommended to either tank leveling dungeons or stick to open world leveling. The reason for this is that the entirety of a cat's damage output is
single target
, affecting only the direct target and no others. This is a very inefficient form of damage in dungeons, where mobs are pulled in large packs that are damaged together using area of effect (AoE) and cleave abilities. As a result, cat DPS will pale in comparison to other classes such as Warlocks, Mages, and Warriors for the majority of a dungeon, and is competitive only on single target boss fights. Furthermore, since cats need to powershift continuously to keep up on damage, they can easily run out of Mana over the course of several trash pulls, forcing the group to wait or crippling their subsequent damage output.
Bear Leveling Viability
When playing a tank role, Feral Druids exclusively level up in 5-man dungeons, as
猎豹形态
is substantially more efficient for questing and killing mobs in the open world. Bears deal a lot less damage than cats, which makes sense since they fill a tank rather than DPS role, and also attack very slowly, both of which are poor fits for solo content. The only situation in which
熊形态
can be very useful in the open world is when attempting to solo group quests by killing Elite mobs on your own. In these scenarios, the very high Armor of bear tanks can allow you to outlast these hard hitting mobs while slowly chipping away at their health pool.
In dungeons on the other hand, Feral tanks will be in very high demand especially at the start of Season of Mastery, since a sizable fraction of the Classic player base will be leveling in dungeons, and tanks are the hardest role to fill in a dungeon group. Unfortunately, bears struggle to hold Threat in vanilla dungeons because
and
are the only bear abilities that affect multiple targets at once. Mobs in 5-man dungeons are typically pulled in large packs that are damaged together using area of effect (AoE) and cleave abilities, so bears have mediocre performance in these scenarios. In contrast, Arms
战士
tanks are the undisputed kings of dungeon tanking due to their powerful cleave toolkit of
and
旋风斩
. Nevertheless, tanks are in such high demand that you will have zero trouble finding groups as a bear tank even if you are not the best class for the job. The demand for tanks will be so high that you can easily start your own groups for every single dungeon of interest and hand pick the other members.
Skilled Feral tanks can still hold aggro in a dungeon setting through judicious use of
低吼
, which forces a target to turn to you;
, which can stun enemies that are not the primary kill target; and
野性冲锋
, which allows you to intercept enemies that are running away from you. Once you familiarize yourself with the pulls in each dungeon, you will start to develop effective strategies for keeping each pack under control using your available toolkit. Moreover, while bears are mediocre trash tanks, they are excellent tanks for dungeon
bosses
throughout the leveling process, since their
single target
Threat generation is very competitive with that of Warrior tanks.
Leveling Tips for Feral Druid
Solo Leveling Tips
(1) Use both your Mana
and
Health bars.
As a hybrid class, one of the key strengths of a Feral Druid is the ability to leverage two kinds of resources together: Mana and Energy. For maximum leveling efficiency, you ideally want to kill mobs in
猎豹形态
until your HP gets low, and then spend your Mana pool on healing yourself back to full and refreshing any expiring buffs. Once you have converted your Mana into HP, you can then go back into
猎豹形态
and return to mob grinding until your HP depletes again. When done efficiently, your Mana will regenerate back to full by the time you need to heal up again. By repeating this cycle over and over, you can level indefinitely with zero downtime, as long as your health pool depletes more slowly than your Mana regeneration rate.
(2) Avoid multi-mob pulls.
In order to level fully sustainably as described above, your health pool should degrade gradually over time as you encounter each mob, giving your Mana pool time to recover. As a result, it is important to avoid burst damage scenarios where your HP depletes rapidly all at once. The most common way this can occur in the open world is by pulling multiple mobs at once, as the single target damage output of a Feral is simply too low to kill two or three mobs simultaneously without taking a beating yourself. Even when aiming to kill mobs one at a time, multi-mob pulls can occur by accident if your target "chains" its nearby neighbors, which is sometimes called "social aggro". To minimize the chance of this happening, pull mobs from a distance using
or
, rather than running up to them. This lets you control the mob's pathing, and reduces the risk of encountering patrols while in combat.
(3) Increase movement speed efficiently.
When leveling from 20 to 60, you will have three forms of increased movement speed at your disposal: a 30% increase in
猎豹形态
via the
talent, a 40% increase by shifting into
旅行形态
, and a 60% increase by summoning your level 40 ground mount. Summoning a mount takes 3 seconds, so it is only worth using over
猎豹形态
for distances over 145 yards, and is only worth using over
旅行形态
for distances over 235 yards. Make sure to only mount up for travel that is sufficiently long to be worth the cast time!
(4) Use utility tools to avoid death.
Druids have a plethora of tools available to them to handle pulls that are too difficult to handle conventionally. You can use
纠缠根须
to root extra mobs in place from afar, or use
for the same purpose when fleeing a mob within striking distance of you. You can also shift into
熊形态
and stun enemies using
蛮力猛击
or simply outlast them using
狂暴回复
. Also leverage your
急奔
cooldown as a speedy exit strategy during emergencies. If you are getting slowed by enemy casters while attempting to escape, remember that you can always remove movement impairing effects simply by changing form.
Dungeon Leveling Tips
(1) Mark primary kill targets.
In Classic WoW dungeons, there is a tendency for DPS players to zerg down mob packs indiscriminately, targeting arbitrary mobs and using AoE abilities immediately at the start of pulls. This type of play style makes life quite difficult for a Druid tank with strengths in single target Threat generation. Vanilla DPS classes are "glass cannons" with extremely low health pools, so losing Threat on a mob can result in a DPS death and time wasted resurrecting and rebuffing them. The best way to keep pulls under control is to
always
mark a primary kill target (Skull) and instruct your DPS to burst down that target prior to unleashing their full AoE/cleave toolkit. This allows you to hold aggro on the Skull target using
, while generating enough secondary Threat on the other mobs with
to give your DPS enough buffer for AoE on the rest of the pack.
(2) Pull trash packs far back.
A common mistake made by new tanks is to rush headfirst into mob packs and fight them where they stand. While this strategy can be okay in some situations, it is generally ill advised for a few reasons. First, adjacent mob packs in dungeons are often spaced close enough together that a neighboring pack may chain onto you mid-combat, usually leading to a wipe. When tagging the pack from a distance, you can often avoid these chain pulls, since the "social aggro" radius of mob packs is typically smaller than the distance at which players will aggro. Second, many dungeons feature wandering mob packs called patrols, and the pathing of these patrols can be hard to gauge from a distance. As a result, it is very easy to unexpectedly aggro a nearby patrol that you did not even see when charging into the pack. When tagging the pack from a distance, you can pull at an opportune moment with no patrols in the vicinity, and then drag the pack far away from the patrol route.
(3) Exploit enemy line of sight.
In trash packs containing caster type mobs, it can be very difficult to pull the casters towards you, as their default behavior is to stay in place and chain cast spells at their highest Threat target (usually your healer). The best strategy to get around this is to move out of the enemy's line of sight (LoS) immediately after tagging the group with
and/or
. This causes the enemy's first spell cast to fail, forcing them to move into your line of sight before casting again. The best places to exploit LoS are corners of hallways in the dungeon, or pillars that you can get behind. Make sure that your entire group follows you to the LoS location in order to guarantee that the entire pack comes to you. LoS is also a very helpful defensive tool
during
a pull: if you see that a dangerous enemy spell cast targeted at you is in progress, you can move out of LoS at the last second to prevent the cast from going off, significantly reducing your total damage intake.
(4) Pool Rage prior to each pull.
All of a bear's Threat generating abilities require Rage as a resource. Unlike Mana, Rage starts at 0 and must be built up by dealing or taking damage. If you start a pull with no available Rage, then you will not be able to use any abilities before auto-attacking a target first, and can easily lose aggro in the process, since the Threat generated by auto-attacks is very small compared to your special abilities. In contrast, starting a pull with a healthy amount of Rage allows you to instantly unleash a
on your primary kill target, giving you an immediate Threat lead over your DPS. There are two ways to ensure that you have some Rage before each pull: Since tanks take damage from lots of mobs simultaneously in vanilla dungeons, you may end the previous pull with a lot of Rage remaining. If this is the case, do
not
shapeshift or else you will lose the accumulated Rage, and initiate the next pull as soon as you can (as healer Mana allows) with
. On the flip side, if you have no available Rage at the start of a pull, then make use of the
talent to provide you with an instant 10 Rage when you shapeshift, and also leverage your
ability for further Rage generation. In this scenario, it is useful to tag the pack in caster form with
, and then shapeshift as the mobs run towards you so the rage from
does not decay away. If you are still finding yourself Rage starved in a dungeon, consider putting on
狼头之盔
for a further Rage boost when shapeshifting.
(5) Use taunts and stuns liberally.
As discussed above, AoE Threat generation is not a bear's forte, so Druids will need to make use of every available tool for keeping trash packs under control. If you see a DPS pull aggro on a mob, then immediately use
低吼
to save their life and "steal" the DPS player's Threat. Alternatively, for mobs that will die quickly, you can forego tanking the Skull target entirely by simply taunting it and then turning to other mobs; the Taunt will provide enough buffer room for DPS to burst down the target before it reaches them. Likewise, use your
cooldown as often as possible both to interrupt spells and as a "proxy Taunt" for an additional mob when
低吼
is on cooldown. Additionally, the immobilize effect of
野性冲锋
is another crowd control tool at your disposal, giving you enough time to regain a Threat lead after switching targets to a mob that is running towards your casters. Finally,
is a powerful cooldown that you can use in emergencies or for grouping up a scattered trash pack.
General Leveling Tips
Do the entire
熊形态
quest chain, starting with
/
响应召唤
, as soon as you hit level 10. Your leveling speed from 10-20 will improve significantly after you can shapeshift, as you can still DPS mobs from a distance using
but will have substantially higher melee DPS once mobs reach you.
Likewise, don't wait on completing the
旅行形态
quest chain, even if you don't find many uses for it when questing on land in most zones. Many Druids sleep on this until they reach a high level, but regret it when executing the occasional underwater quest encountered while leveling, such as
in
阿拉希高地
. On a practical note, it is helpful to train
旅行形态
before
猎豹形态
because many endgame Feral macros use form IDs that assume
猎豹形态
is in the third rather than second slot.
As much as possible, plan your leveling route so that you are fighting mobs that are 1-2 levels lower than you. Since Feral Druids should optimize for sustainability with no downtime, as described in the solo leveling tips above, lower level mobs are a much more efficient source of experience than equal or higher level mobs, which will force you to heal up more frequently.
When completing quest objectives, you can often use
潜行
to bypass a ton of mobs that would otherwise take a significant amount of time to clear. Even though killing mobs grants experience, quest XP far surpasses it, so you are best served by completing objectives as quickly as possible using stealth. For example, there are several quests like
解除诅咒
that occur on boats densely packed with quickly respawning mobs, and you can skip all of the associated combat by stealthing directly to the mini-boss / chest / etc. that you need to find.
You can often solo quests that are intended for groups by killing elite mobs without any help. Even though you will be questing primarily in
猎豹形态
, you can swap to
熊形态
in these situations and simply outlast the elite with your massive Armor and health pool. You will inevitably get low on HP at some point when doing this, but can then utilize
蛮力猛击
to stun the enemy for long enough to pop out of form and heal up.
Make sure to gather up all of the quests associated with each leveling dungeon before you start running it. The experience gains from dungeon quests are enormous, and the full quest suite for a single dungeon can often net you a full level's worth of experience. You can find the full list of available quests for each dungeon in the dungeon's Wowhead strategy guide, for example this section of the
剃刀沼泽
strategy guide. Most dungeon quests are standalone quests that can be picked up directly from an NPC, so these quests can be shared with the entire party as long as one person has picked them up. Others, however, are the conclusion of multi-part quest chains that must be completed by each party member individually. These longer quest chains are still worth doing despite the effort required, as they often provide the most lucrative rewards. For example,
迪菲亚兄弟会
is the conclusion of a 7-part quest chain leading to
死亡矿井
, but rewards the player with
西部荒野外套
, which is not replaced for a very long time during the leveling process.
Try to form dungeon groups with other players who are interested in chain running the dungeon multiple times in a row. Unlike Outland dungeons, the leveling dungeons in Azeroth can take a very long time to reach, as they span the entirety of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Prior to obtaining a ground mount, you will need to traverse entire zones by foot in order to reach certain dungeons, and may even need to travel within the opposing faction's territory! One of the most infamous examples of this is reaching the
血色修道院
dungeon as an Alliance player, which requires running all the way from Southshore in
希尔斯布莱德丘陵
through the
奥特兰克山脉
, swimming across Lordamere Lake to the border between
银松森林
and
提瑞斯法林地
, and then traversing the fully Horde controlled path to the instance. As a result, it is extremely useful to find groups that will farm the same dungeon over and over in order to maximize the returns from the long travel time.
Take full advantage of the Druid's strength as a hybrid class capable of filling a tank, DPS,
or
healing role as needed. By default you will be tanking the majority of dungeon groups as a Feral Druid, but may periodically encounter a group that already has a tank but is short a healer or DPS player. In these situations, always offer to fill the missing role, as you can perform every role easily during the early stages of the leveling process. Swapping between tanking and DPS is as simple as shifting from
熊形态
to
猎豹形态
with the exact same melee gear, but for healing it is useful to carry around a second set of gear with Intellect and +Healing stats (often cloth pieces) that you can swap in when you need to heal. A Feral Druid can heal just fine in full Feral spec, especially when gear swaps are available, until about level 50 or so, which is when the spec becomes a limitation in the effectiveness of the Feral as a healer.
Feral Druid Leveling Talents
When leveling a fresh Druid from 1-60 via a combination of open world questing and dungeon tanking, the talent order shown below is recommended as an efficient leveling path. At earlier levels, the first big milestone to work towards is the
talent, which you can start talenting at level 20 when following the talent order below. Since you also pick up
猎豹形态
at level 20, you will immediately notice the increased movement speed as you hop from one mob to the next, and especially when traveling long distances. This is especially helpful when leveling in dungeons due to the large travel distances between flight paths and many instances. The next milestone to look forward to is the
talent, which lets you pull mobs effortlessly from afar without needing to waste Mana casting a spell before shapeshifting. You will also pick up the
talent in this level range, which lets you cast your Threat generating abilities more frequently, especially when tanking soft hitting mobs that do not provide a lot of Rage from incoming damage.
At Level 35, you can optionally re-spec from the deep Feral leveling path shown below, and instead opt for a 14/12/0 hybrid build in order to pick up
清晰预兆
as soon as possible while still maintaining
. While
清晰预兆
is simply a nice-to-have TPS boost when tanking in dungeons, it qualitatively changes your playstyle while leveling in the open world, allowing you to fish for
节能施法
procs while killing mobs in
猎豹形态
, and then shifting out to spend the procs on expensive heals. You should only consider a re-spec like this if you spend almost all of your time solo leveling, as picking up Omen early sacrifices many critical TPS talents for holding Threat in dungeons.
Feral Druid Leveling Rotations in Classic WoW
General advice:
You'll want to keep yourself buffed with
野性印记
and
荆棘术
, as well as
清晰预兆
once you talent into it.
At level 30 you will get
旅行形态
and you'll use this for travel until you get mounts.
You can get
急奔
at level 26 as an additional movement speed cooldown.
Feral Druid Open World DPS Rotation
Feral Druid Open World Rotation: Levels 10-19
Pull mob by casting
from maximum range.
Continue casting
repeatedly until the mob reaches melee range.
Shift into
熊形态
.
Cast
重殴
repeatedly until target is dead.
Use
and/or
as needed to top yourself off for the next pull.
Feral Druid Open World Rotation: Levels 20-60
If Level 30+, then pull mob with
from a distance. Otherwise, run into the mob's melee range in
猎豹形态
.
If there are at least 2 seconds remaining until you will be within melee range of the mob, then cast
猛虎之怒
for a temporary damage buff so that you do not waste an Energy tick while waiting to engage the mob.
Use
repeatedly, waiting for Energy ticks when needed.
(Level 32+) If you have 5 Combo Points and target is not yet dead, then use
凶猛撕咬
.
Use
and/or
when low on health, ideally with a
节能施法
proc active.
Feral Druid Dungeon Tanking Rotation
Feral Druid Tank Dungeon Boss Rotation
This rotation provides the highest single target TPS throughout all of vanilla WoW, and will most commonly be used when tanking dungeon bosses and when tanking raids. In vanilla, the primary spammable Threat generator for bears at all stages of gearing is
, which has a very large internal Threat modifier and scales well with Attack Power and Crit from gear and buffs. The only other Threat generator that you can use is
, which is quite abysmal in vanilla WoW because it deals a fixed amount of damage that does not scale with Attack Power. As such, you will only use Swipe as a filler spell for dumping excess Rage once you are already maintaining 100% Maul uptime on your kill target.
The single target dungeon tanking rotation can be described as follows:
Pull mob with
or
, exploiting LoS when appropriate.
Cast
repeatedly.
If excess Rage is available after queueing
on every single auto-attack, then cast
.
It is important to manage your Rage carefully when executing this rotation. Do not cast Swipe unless you can guarantee 10 available Rage for your next Maul when the swing timer ends. Even without any consumables or raid buffs, you can achieve over 80% of your peak attainable TPS without casting a single Swipe, simply by maintaining full Maul uptime on your target.
Feral Druid Tank Dungeon Trash AoE Rotation
When you are under-geared and tanking three or more targets, which describes the majority of pulls in leveling dungeons, then
becomes the Druid's primary Threat generator, providing more total Threat across all targets than
. This makes the AoE Threat rotation very simple:
Cast
on current target.
If enough Rage is available, cast
on current target.
Tab to new target.
Once you reach level 50+ and start acquiring some pre-raid gear, then you will stop prioritizing
even in AoE tanking situations due to its lack of gear scaling, and will instead simply tab-target
to keep aggro on secondary kill targets.
Feral Druid Healing Rotation
As mentioned earlier in this guide, you can heal perfectly fine as Feral spec while leveling in dungeons. Off-spec healing
will
get progressively harder without the correct gear as you level up though, so maintaining an Intellect gear set with some Healing Power pieces is advisable so that you can flex heal as needed in your dungeon groups. Note that Feral Druids will run out of Mana very quickly while healing, especially in the later dungeons past level 40, so make sure to always carry a lot of water with you.
Maintain
on the tank, and also cast it on other party members who need to be topped off.
Spam the lowest rank of
that will keep the tank topped off in conjunction with your
ticks.
Use
as an emergency burst heal for spike damage.
Spells to Buy While Leveling as a Feral Druid in Classic WoW
This is a critical section to take the time to read because a common misconception is that you'll need to buy every single ability as you can train them when, in reality, you only need to purchase certain spells at certain levels. This path will save you a lot of travel time, as well as a lot of gold that can go toward buying your first mount at level 40.
Druid Trainer Locations
Druids have a wide variety of abilities that are useful in niche situations; if you feel comfortable with the amount of gold you have, you can feel free to purchase any abilities you think you would use while leveling in addition to these spells. Usually, if an ability requires
猎豹形态
to use, you can safely purchase it. Whatever you decide to do, be sure to save enough gold for your mount at 40.
野性印记
: This is your main class buff, it's always worth upgrading this spell when you can. You can train this at the following levels: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60.
: Only upgrade new ranks once your existing rank stops topping you off adequately (~50% of your max health recovered). It is perfectly normal to downrank Healing Touch significantly relative to your max purchasable rank, so save your gold until bigger heals are absolutely required.
愤怒
: Keep this up to date until level 20, at which point you can stop training new ranks since you will be staying in
猎豹形态
for dealing damage.
回春术
: Similar to
, only upgrade as needed once prior ranks stop topping you off adequately between pulls.
荆棘术
: Another staple class buff that should always be applied when leveling, so keep it updated at the following levels: 6, 14, 24, 34, 44, 54.
重殴
: You'll always want to use the latest rank of Maul in order to hold Threat when tanking dungeons. You can train new ranks at the following levels: 18, 26, 34, 42, 50, 58.
: Keep updated for dungeon tanking just like
重殴
. You can train new ranks at the following levels: 16, 24, 34, 44, 54.
: Once you get
猎豹形态
at level 20, you'll use this as your primary Energy dump. You can train this at the following levels: 20, 28, 38, 48, 58.
: You'll want to apply this to all enemies on pull, both when solo leveling and when tanking in dungeons. You can train this at the following levels: 30, 42, 54.
凶猛撕咬
: This will be your finisher. You can train this at the following levels: 32, 40, 48, 56, 60.
All other class spells are not absolutely required as part of your core leveling toolkit in the open world and dungeons, so you can use discretion about training and/or upgrading them based on your available gold.
Best Weapons and Gear for Leveling a Feral Druid
The table below showcases some high value quest rewards and dungeon drops that you can pick up while leveling from 1-60. Note that unlike other melee DPS classes, Feral Druids do not derive any DPS from the raw damage range on their weapons, so melee weapons function purely as stat sticks just like all other gear slots.

Feral Druid Leveling Stat Weights
Strength = Agi = Stam
Strength:
Each point of Strength provides 2 melee Attack Power while leveling. In
猎豹形态
, this is bumped up to 2.4 Attack Power at higher levels once you max out the
talent.
Agility:
Each point of Agility provides 1 Attack Power in
猎豹形态
, and provides 0.05% Crit Chance in both
猎豹形态
and
熊形态
. Agility also boosts your Armor and avoidance, but these stats are not high priorities when leveling.
Stamina:
Each point of Stamina provides 10 HP, which is further boosted to 12 HP in
once you max out the
talent.
When leveling, you should weight all three of these primary stats equally when comparing gear options. No other stats materially impact your leveling performance until you reach level 50+, which is when you will start seeing endgame drops with useful secondary stat allocations like Attack Power and Hit Chance.

Leveling Dungeons for Druids in Season of Mastery
While leveling in Classic, often you'll find quests for dungeons appropriate for your level. Classic doesn't have quality of life improvements like Dungeon finder or Group Finder, so players must use default chat channels like General or LookingForGroup to find groups for dungeons.
We have guides for all dungeons in Classic to help you in your journey.

Bag Space in Season of Mastery
One aspect of Classic leveling that many players, especially retail players, often forget is bag space. Unlike when you start a new expansion, starting in Classic means you only have your default backpack available, with meager 14 items lots.
To ease that off, there are some bags that you can easily obtain at the start of the game:
亚麻包
- Created by Tailors. Requires
裁缝
skill level 45 and takes 6x
亚麻布
, obtained from Humanoid enemies, and 3x
粗线
, purchasable at
Tailoring supplies vendors
.
If you have the necessary materials, try asking in General Chat or Trade Chat if any Tailor could help you making that bag. If you find someone, make sure to tip them for their help!
棕色小袋
- Dropped by many different humanoid mobs and sold by
select vendors in early game
for around .
科多兽皮包
- Created by Leatherworkers. Requires
制皮
skill level 40 and is learned from
图样:科多兽皮包
, which is only sold by a Horde vendor. Alliance players may get this pattern by using the Neutral AH in Gadgetzan. Requires 3x
薄科多兽皮
, 4x
轻皮
, and 1x
粗线
.

I'm confused why the guide suggests taking Primal Fury over Blood Frenzy. Seems illogical. Guide has you ignore every other bear focused talent, but then has you specialize into sharpened bear claws instead of cat.
Someone explain, please.
