Is there a guide for "Troves of the Thunder King"?

Youtube has many videos about it, but personally, from one player to another, I don't advice you to bother. Its far more profitable to just loot as many chests as you can. To clear the scenario you'd have to ignore every single chest in the first and second and third run, and only kill the boss, loot the 3 chests behind him (Which don't have any extra chance to reward more) and then talk to the pandaren surounded by red flares.

On the main youtube vid I saw, one guy manages to clear it, but only gets a grand total of 50g, and a couple of notes, 1 tresure trove key, and not even one elder charm.

Meanwhile last night I did it on my monk, and did nothing but loot and loot and loot, spent most of the time in the first room and about a minute in the second one. Got out of there with nearly 600g, 16 elder charms, 40 historical notes, 4 shado-pan assault insignias, and 5 tresure trove keys.

The only benefit of clearing the scenario is the achievement, so I'll just wait until the next expansion when there's more gear and I can oneshot the mobs, and then I'll do it, in the meantime I'll just stick to looting as much as I can haul.

I had a lot of troubles with the second room, with the mobs and the laser beams that follow you. I was wondering if you COULD kill them, or would that slow you down too much? (if we don't use the CC that you can buy with Charms)

So if I'm understanding you correctly, the best way at the moment is to focus on the first room?

In that second room you can squeeze past a bunch of the towers, and if you jump over the railing where it's broken you can hit the lever without engaging any enemies at all. You might have to do some tricky jumping to get past the traps without hitting the red runes, but so far the traps between the rooms have proven far more dangerous and time-consuming than the stuff in the rooms themselves.

I don't really think it's worth clearing, since you can get 陪葬品钥匙 from many chests along the way. Clearing is like...getting one guaranteed key while skipping dozens of chests that could potentially contain them along the way.

Users have left a lot of good comments on what to do on 雷神宫殿钥匙 and 雷电堡 pages as well. People seem to especially like my comments, but there are a ton of highly-upvoted ones :P

Exactly what I think. Go through the first room and get everything you can, then grab as much as you can in the hallway and some in the second room.

Maybe near the end of the xpansion, or even next expansion, go back with much better gear and kill the boss and get the achievement.

My first and only try, I got 500g and 3 keys and a bunch of pages and coins etc. I have yet to see anyone on live post a video of killing the boss and getting that much.

When I ran my DK alt through the other day (hey, it's an easy way to get some gold on him), I noticed that there was at least one gold chest hidden inside the socket which holds one of the banners. (IIRC to the right as you enter the second room).

It's worth keeping an eye for at the least.
