The quest completion trigger is between Dreamscythe & Weaver and Jammal'an the Prophet. The quest gets completed in the corridor between the two boss areas. I entered my partially cleared raid (5/8), used Eyes of the Beast to jump my pet down, activated dash and ran all the way down the corridor into Jammal'an the Prophet's room, pulling all the trash mobs behind it. Then I ran up the corridor and into a corner before activating Feign Death. Got my credit and hearthed out.

Stealth classes can get there fine. Otherwise another option could be to use invisibility potions to get there after the jump down, or even just bringing a Hunter to bait the mobs. Good luck!

Don't forget that you need to turn into the same fellow in the cave, in Swamp of Sorrows, before making your way back to Moonglade.

Here's the full walkthrough:

Go to the Ashenvale Nightmare Incursion and go to 89,65 to encounter the Nightmare Amalgam. You only need to enter the area with the debuff, then you can run out.
Speak to Field Captain Hannalah to pick up the quest An Amalgamation of Nightmares.
Go to Moonglade and speak to Loganaar to complete step 2 and pick up Itharius.
Go to Swamp of Sorrows and speak to Itharius to complete step 3 and pick up Going Under.
Go partway through Sunken Temple, then return to Itharius to complete step 4 and pick up Return to Moonglade.
Go to Moonglade and speak to Loganaar to complete step 5.
Speak to Shadowy Figure next to you to pick up A Fortuitous Turn of Events.
Speak again to Shadowy Figure to complete step 7 and pick up The Bad News....
Go to Booty Bay and speak to Injured Gnome to complete step 8 and pick up The Lost Vambraces.
Go to Itty Bitty Murloc at 41,86 and examine the Small Burrow next to him to complete step 9 and pick up Decharged Void-Powered Vambraces.
Go to Moonglade and speak to Shadowy Figure to pick up Waking the Nightmare.
Go back to the Ashenvale Nightmare Incursion and kill the Nightmare Amalgam, then return to Moonglade and give Mantle of Nightmares to Shadowy Figure to complete step 11 and pick up the Inert Mantle of Nightmares.

Finally, go craft your shoulders!

I just went back to my 6/8 cleared instance and got it.

From the instance entrance, go through the 2nd tunnel from the right. Through the slime boss area and to the platform that leads to the toll bosses and dual dragons with the hole.

The area will be full of dragonkin.

Go the left side of the platform and run into the eastern room.

I was an unbuffed mage and I ran into dragons and blinked and got credit. I think just about anyone could run in far enough to get credit
