If you have a higher lvl hunter, or even a 30ish - 40ish one. You can kill the two minions beside the boss without killing the boss; then fein death and he'll go back to his original spot. Then his minions will respawn about 10 secs after he goes goes back.....to technicly you can farm this item all day O_o and it drops almost every time.

i got two in total from the guards next to the boss. the boss also drops a sweet helm. i thin k its called tusken helm. it looks good wit han icy enchant on it.

i got it today with my lvl 23 orc hunter =)
on my second RFK run (with help of a lvl 48 rogue).

easy to get, go to the right until road turns to left and right, go straight ahead. kill the boss with the 2 guards and voila, helm and polearm (polearm doesnt drop all the time)

(hunter weapon, so warriors please dont roll on it unless there is no hunter in group)

ill tell you how good it is when i lvl up =)

This is a hunter wep because I don't see how anyone else would want it, considering the bad dps. And it drops off of the bosses guards, usually like 50%, but every time I've been there it'd dropped

If you are a Hunter, than I really recommend this weapon especially since it only requires level 24. This weapon gives 11 Agility, which is very important for a Hunter. I really do not think DPS will be of much importance because most Hunters just use ranged attacks, which is why Agility is needed so much for a Hunter.

As someone said before - they do not respawn. Heck I just wanted to try the hunter trick of killing the bodyguards, feigning etc. NEITHER dropped the piercer, then when I feigned (a level 60) the little boss successfully resisted my feign? I had to whistle up my pet, disengage and lay him out. Never had a lowbie NPC resist feign...and seldom anyone at level for that matter! Super nerfed this. Too bad.
