North and a little east of booty bay (coords: 26,69) there is a small pirate camp, and a pirate named "pretty-boy duncan". Kill him, he almost always drops the eye on the first kill.

I've killed him with 2 of my characters so far for this quest and he's dropped the eye on the first kill both times.

after looking up who drops the eye and reading some of the posts, i went out and killed a raider right outside BB and he dropped the eye.

Okay, it just took me 63 kills to get the drop. I would've abandoned quest if the loot wasn't good Rogue gear. So I'm a little aggrivated...and I'm taking it out on you. Yes you, idiot, who insist "TEH DROP RATE IS GRATE!11!" No...it's not, you got lucky. Check the numbers...it's a 1% drop not 100%. Your experience does not define the world around you so think before you ignorantly spam the thread.

drop rate on allahkazam counts every single kills on that mob, not the ones for the people who have the quest only so it counts the total number of this mob killed / the number of people who had the quest

The droprate might be bad, but look at it positively.. at least now u got a reason to grind 100 of these bloodsail mobs :p

started this quest and the quest to collect snuff, i already have all the snuff but haven't seen the eye yet.
