From the description of this quest, it sounds like they want you do a solo DMT run on your hunter. This requires at least 200 engineering for Large Seaforium Charge.

A guildie of mine got the quest item from SE but does not know how to do a solo DMT and he does not have 200 engineering on his hunter.
I did a run for him and looted the chest at the end. After killing the roadblocks, I ran out of the instance. He ran in, I passed him lead and I left the party.
He then ran all the way to the end. Mizzle was there and it showed the quest icon, but upon trying to talk to him, he got the warning "You can't do that right now."
Disabling all addons didn't change this.

Therefore, it seems like you really cannot be helped with this and you will need at least 200 engineering if you want to complete your bow.
If I had to guess, the item you need for your quest is probably inside the chest of rewards you get at the end after you kill the king.
==> EDIT A DAY LATER: Me and my guildie went back, I solo cleared DMT and did NOT talk to Mizzle or loot the chest. I cleaned up the way and my guildie entered similar to last time. Once again, he got the warning "You can't do that right now" when talking to Mizzle. The item was NOT in the chest, there was just regular DMT loot in there.

I hope to be corrected in the future and that someone figures out a different way to do this. If you see anything wrong with my approach, please let me know :)

If not, then strap in and get ready to learn DMT solo runs. Oh, and level engineering to 200 :)

Can confirm that this can be done without any engineering. I am Skinning and Mining.

Done solo on my Troll hunter(Lemonpoppy <Funk Around n Find Out>, Wild Growth), here's how:
Start by killing Guard Mol'dar. He is the first Ogre in the grassy area down the ramp just after you enter the instance. Loot the inner Gordok key off his body.
Proceed to Fengus' chest (do not kill Fengus) and loot the Gordok courtyard key from there.
Continue through the rest of the instance using the 2 keys to unlock the 2 doors. Make sure you do not kill Slip'kik or Captain Kromcrush.
Kite out King Gordok and kill him.
You can talk to Kromcrush after the king is dead but before you talk to Mizzle in order to get another item in the tribute chest.
Talk to Mizzle and complete the quest. Spawn the chest and get your loots.

Next step? Kill Grand Crusader Caldoran in SE, or so I have heard..

must solo instance i tried to cheese it multiple times and they all failed, having trouble finding information on inescapable fate

-QUEST TURN IN BUG - If your quest is complete after doing the "Crafty the Crafter" SOLO DMT run and the quest giver will not let u complete the quest and automatically dialogs then exits chat you need to TURN OFF ALL ADDONS .. whether its Nova world buffs questie or whatever addon that automatically does auto dialog it is messing up the quest turn in with the dialog for the tribute buffs .. this happened to me and it fixed it

I tried to cheese this following others guides and it just didn't work foe me , i ended up clearing the mobs solo and taking my time with world buffs and rocket boots and lips, only took me 6 hours I'm a noob but i got it done, don't need engineering if you kill mordok for the key
