There are more alcohol vendor booths, one for each Allied Race faction. There is also a water elemental, Hydratius, selling refreshing water.

Brewfest has more scenery including a set of outhouses with a long line.

One apple barrel has been removed for Ram Racing and the barrels have a different appearance.

Down With The Dark Iron has been removed from Brewmaster, as the Dark Irons are now a friendly Allied Race. There are different types of invasions like Hozen Totem or Contained Alemental

Coren Direbrew's loot is up to ilvl 395.

Brewfest Chowdown Trophy sold by Britta Steinheart and Etga for 5 Chowdown Champion Token. This is from a special minigame that appears to be bugged according to EU reports.

During Brewfest, players can acquire the title Brewmaster for completing the Brewmaster meta-achievement. They can also collect fun mounts like Swift Brewfest Ram, three battle pets, and six toys for the Toy Box including Gravil Goldbraid's Famous Sausage Hat.

Daily activities include killing Coren Direbrew for loot and mounts, as well as completing Ram Racing for Brewfest Prize Tokens. These tokens are used to purchase Brewfest Garb, toys, pets, and heirloom upgrades.

There is also a special experience buff: various Brewery NPCs will give speeches by their camps at 6:15 AM and PM Pacific time, and then buff everyone nearby with this 2 hour buff which persists through death. If you need leveling tips to take advantage of this experience buff, check out our BFA Leveling Guide.

I’m loving collecting all these hearthstone toys, another one to add to my collection! Cheers to Blizzard for adding more things to collect this year!

Comment by Skullhawk13

I'm glad they stopped the dark iron attacks, it was already implausible back in cataclysm but now it would just be dumb. The other changes and additions all seem good as well, Well done blizzard.

stuff is quiet bugged, new minigame and "bark X" daily

Comment by DiscordianKitty

Pretty buggy. Can't finish any "Bark for so-and-so" quests as only one location registers that you've been there. Every second round of the sausage eating context bugs out. Got a quest to turn in Direbrew's Dire Brew but no one to turn it into.

But I'll take any amount of bugs when it means new content. So excited to see the changes. I hope this becomes a theme. A second 'What a long, strange trip it's been" would be a m a z i n g. It took me at least three years to complete the first one and WoW has always felt just a little like it's missing something since.

So wait, they had attention to detail to update holiday for bfa's making of dark iron dwarves friendly, but have High Tinker Mekkatorque giving speaches? If anything dark iron attacks make more sense than High Tinker Mekkatorque being good and dandy. At least with dark iron you can explain them as those who didn't fall in line (which is true, you learn as much during scenario that not all were on board with alliance and throwing down old ways).

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they updated to include dark iron lore, but the mekka mistake is a big one.

Bark X works fine for me.
Ram Racing has a new path and less barrels.

There are no Vulpera Reps so that datamine was either old and they trashed the idea, or something else.

Comment by Iceman3317

Chowdown isn't bugged as far as I can tell. You need to sit with 3 other people and it will start, the winner who eats the most gets a token. You have to win 5 times for trophy.

Missions for Brewfest Tokens.

Interesting.

Comment by Scilic

the quest you get for killing the holiday boss is bugged?

Comment by EvaRune

New minigame works fine for me. Just need 4 people sitting for launching the game. Also you get a 5min debuff after playing preventing for instantly playing again.

Comment by StoneLegion

"Daily activities include killing Coren Direbrew for loot and mounts"

Any level restrictions on this? Or can level 30 enjoy getting a chance for the mount?

Comment by Iceman3317

the quest you get for killing the holiday boss is bugged?

It wasn't for me. It worked like normal.

Comment by Renevant99

Bark X quest does not work. Attempted 5 times, through /reloadui, log out/login and reboot.
New minigame works fine

Barker Quest is bugged for Horde, Works for Alliance
Direbrew's Direbrew is bugged for Horde, Works for Alliance
The Chowdown immediately completes as soon as it starts every other time (which is handy if you only want the take part quest as it is faster)
The third apple barrel for the daily cask delivery quest is missing on Alliance - it may have been deliberately removed but Horde have barrels at points 1 2 3 4 and Alliance only have at 1 2 x 4 so there is a large gap with no barrel.

(This is on EU and was still the case 20:30 server time)

Comment by Adalbern

Atm can't even turn in the Brewfest! quest, chowdown mini game is bugged also.

edit:

no one testing in blizard end this they desing and buggy as they put i game?
only test places ptr and live server they not have in firm pro tester teams .if they have how this can happen almost everytime

Comment by Treekachu

Not sure if it's worth noting, but the apple bucket models have changed as well. They now look like barrels filled with apples.

Comment by Drathy

Chowdown is bugged for every 2nd game. After a normal game the 4 people who participate in the next are booted right after the countdown with 5 minute full stomach buff included. The game after that works fine again, next one bugged and so on.

Comment by AurizenDarkstar

The only problem I've been seeing is, as usual, when you have a drop of an item in your barrel off Coren, it's usually one that your class can't use. :(

Got a thousand year pickled egg on my mage, which is useless since I can't heal. :(

Comment by TiberCOD

I am in absolute mourning. The Dark Iron Battle might have been my favorite thing in WoW. The new events capture none of that fun, and are a serous downgrade to the event, and the game.
