QUICK STRIKE RUNE
In Fenris Isle, near the gate there is the corpse of an undead called Recke Grinnes that gives you a sword, after equipping it you can find the rune by killing the knolls in the area

Commenti

Commento di crappytank

Furious Thunder rune for humans comes from killing Goldtooth

Commento di Otromanu

Furious Thunder - Drops from Zalazane

Commento di BomberJacknut

For dwarves and gnomes, the Victory Rush rune drops from the frostmane troll whelps in the starting area

Commento di Azzarius99

For tauren the victory rush rune comes from a chest in the quillboar area, it's up on top of a hill on the north side (not where the chief is)

Commento di Nefarit

Got Blood Frenzy from the Wandering Swordsman rare near Kharanos on Alliance

Devastate from the monster hunter kill chain (murloc and kobold heads from Elwynn + wendigo paw from Dun Morogh on Alliance), monster hunters are located at: Kharanos caravan for the Wendigo Paw, Old Town Stormwind near the skinner/LW for the heads.

Commento di Thaidakar

Furious Thunder from Gnarlpine Cache in barrow den

Victory Rush from spider in spider cave

Commento di Pikaczu

2 spawns of Warrior swordmanship, dual him and he will leave a chest with rune of bloodfrenzy (sorry for bad screenshot) <3

Commento di Thaidakar

Rune of Frenzied Assault comes from kiting the drunk guy at the top of the dolanaar inn to the outside and then beating him up. Make sure to talk to the innkeeper before and after.

Commento di meeh

Quick Strike is gained by looting Trogs in Loch Modan (41.54, 72.48) , opened by "Stonesplitter Skullthumper" (found in the back of the camps) - They cast a knowdown that opens the skull in your inventory which drops the rune to learn the spell

Commento di Laankast

For tauren:

Victory Rush from the chest shared with the other classes in Quillboar Area of Red Cloud Mesa.
Blood Frenzy from the Wandering Swordman on the road heading east of Mulgore, south side. He's in a cluster of trees.
Furious Thunder comes from killing Arra'chea
Devestate comes from collecting the heads of a Gnoll, Harpy and Quillboar (the quillboar in the NE section of Mulgore, NOT the ones in the starting zone) Turn these heads in at the monster hunter at the back of bloodhoof village inn (in the back, up stairs).

Commento di jm3llow

For Devastate Rune for Alliance: Get a Severed Gnoll Head, Severed Murloc Head, and Severed Kobold Head (any Gnoll, Murloc, or Kobold in Elwynn Forest) and turn them into the Monster Hunter in Old Town in Stormwind. Each head turned in (doesn't have to be all together) gives you a third of a rune. When you have all three pieces, right click any of them to combine them for your new rune!

Commento di Kiyomei

FURIOUS THUNDER RUNE - LEGS : FOR UNDEAD
dropped from gillgar for me.
Elite lvl 7 murloc West of the tower at Solliden Farmstead.
there is a small way between the mountains that leads to a pond with the elite and a few murlocs.

Commento di Feashliaa

Sergeant Brashclaw dropped Endless Rage rune for me in Westfall.

Commento di Eggy87

For Troll/Orc
To get the Rune of Devastate you need to collect all 3 heads, turn em in at Vahi Bonesplitter, then combine the items you get the rune.
You can turn in 1 and 1 head. You don't need to turn in all 3 at once, but you do need all 3 turned in to get the items you need to combine

Commento di breziz

Rune of Frenzied Assault - Tirisfal Glades for Undead Warrior - Speak to Penny Hawkins the bartender in Brill's inn. She tells you to remove Blueheart from the basement. Go to the basement and talk to Blueheart. He engages you and has ~640 hp. Killed him solo at level 11 with a minor health potion.

Commento di Dashee

Undead - Furious Thunder - Gillgar - lvl 7 elite murloc in tirisfal drops rune

Commento di MikeTheScientist

You can get the frenzied assault rune as any race in brill, the warrior who got the killing blow is the one that gets credit

Commento di BlizzardDogShit

For any undead/UC leveling warriors in Tirisfal, you need three trophies, Murloc, Gnoll, Bat. To turn in, you need to visit Dorac Graves in UC, with the title "Tactical Surgeon". He can be found in the room where the alchemist trainers are, in the lower rooms of "The Apothecarium, which is the south western quarter, he stands in the middle of the room next to a couple of corpses on tables.

For what reason did blizz%^&* decided to make this guy stand in UC instead of being in Brill, the first village, like the others, I have no idea, but they should be fired.

Commento di Rngz

For Frenzied Assault, you can go to Stormwind park district, go to the inn there, talk to the barkeeper and then go beat up Stuart, return to her and talk to her again and you get it.
Can also go to Ironforge Military ward, one of the buildings to the left of the area with the PvP battlemasters. You can go there, talk to the NPC, and beat up the other NPC

Commento di Dreadsock

HORDE QUICK STRIKE FOUND:

Head to ratchet and talk to Kilxx by the docks and purchase a Fishing Harpoon,

Head into the bay and find Bruuz, he'll be circling around the boat at the bottom.

Use the harpoon so it lowers his max health, kill him and voila! Just be careful because it is a lvl 20 elite...

This also drops the hunter sniper training rune.

Commento di Killingspee

Frenzied Assault
This rune appears to, generally, come from an Innkeeper in either a Capital City or early leveling zone. They will ask you to fight a someone, and then reward you with the rune when you return to them.

Talk to the Innkeeper, Bruuk Barleybeard and follow his dialogue prompts
Between the door and the straircase, talk to Bruart and follow his dialogue prompts

Commento di executieka

Got Endless Rage rune from Ole Murk-Eye in Westfall (Level 20 Murloc going up and down the strand)

Commento di Blayzem

Commento di Rockstein69

Human-Quick strike.

Get a random drop Called GillsBane(18-34 1handed mace) from difias NPCS, got mine from a Trapper. Has a sub-text "An enchanted weapon said to harvest the souls of slain murlocs".

Kill murlocs on the shore of westfall till you get a unique called "soul of the sea" (will just appear in your inv on kill, its not loot).

Once you have it, straight west of MoonBrook on the shore you will find a statue partly in the water use the soul on the statue and it will spawn a lvl 20 npc (scared the @#$% out of me first time it spawned). Rune is on the corpse

Commento di Letholdras

Commento di KingKorppi01

Commento di CyrixxCry

Dragonslayer's Shield - Redridge Fortress - where the Elite Orcs are and is hanging behind the boss with the dragonkin whelp, there's supposed to be a Dragonslayer's Helm and Lance aswell, anyone has any infos about their whereabouts? (The Shield was only lootable for me as a Warrior)

Commento di Iuchi

Found "Dragonslayer's Helm" during Shadowfang Keep run. There seems to be two more Dragonslayer items, a shield and lance, that I have not found. If anyone finds them please reply here. I'm also not sure which rune this is for.

Commento di Alibobba

Just found and bought, Dragonslayer's Lance off of Dark Iron Entrepreneur in Dun Modr in the Wetlands, am a Gnome Warrior if that matters.

Commento di Venroc

Dragonslayer quests are for Raging Blow

Commento di Aelvin

- Dwarf

In Loch Modan you can loot a Battle Totem from the elite ogres at Mo'Grosh Stronghold and use it to challenge Haren Swifthoof, a level 19 elite. Kill him and you can loot the rune.

Commento di tandain

Blood Frenzy
Can confirm Troll warriors can get the Rune from the Mulgore Swordsman

Commento di Lichie91

For Alliance: When running to Stonetalon Mountains from Ashenvale, through the cave in the south, just outside of it was a gnome with three hand-in quests that only I as a warrior could turn in. I needed the three pieces of Dragonslayer attire to complete them. Perhaps after turning in all three you get a rune? By reading through the earlier comments it seems as though one piece is in Shadowfang Keep, from Commander Springvale (?), another from Redridge Fort (place with elite orc mobs) and third from "Dark Iron Entrepreneur in Dun Modr in the Wetlands". Have yet to confirm the end result myself. Hope it helps.

Commento di Somebodyo

Single-Minded Fury clue. Found a 1h sword in sliverpine forst 65 26, after equiped it I got a buff that tells me it hungers blood of gnoll and revenge.

Commento di Ravenous828

DEVASTATE RUNE for Dwarf/Gnome without going to other zones. In the caves just west of Kharanos, I got the Wendigo Paw as listed above for rune fragment three, rune fragment two came from turning in a Troll Head that dropped in Frostmane Hold for me and fragment number one came from turning in a Pristine Trogg Heart that dropped from a Trogg Bonesnapper in the Gol'Bolar Quarry area. Combining these three fragments makes the full rune.

Commento di Gnarnar

All the info I have on the non-updated runes here...please reply with any more info yall have where I am missing stuff.
-Consumed by Rage:

Elite Bird in Wetlands located at the back of Thelgen's Rock (shared with Hunter) (back of southern spooder cave)

-Flagellation Rune:

Duskwood Raven Hill Cemetery, you have to go down the large hole in the ground and clear to the left, once in the large grave room the chest with the Phylactery can be found immediately to the right from the entrance.

From there you have to take the Phylactery to the crypt on the opposite side of the graveyard and on the first floor down to your right after some mobs is an altar with a skeleton. Use the Phylactery on the Skeleton and defeat the level 25 elite lich that spawns and it drops the Rune of Flagellation

-Raging Blow:

Dragonslayer Shield - Redridge - Coords: In the keep at 66,57 - Upstairs on the wall
Dragonslayer Lance - Wetlands - Coords: Dun'Modr - Dark Iron Entrepreneur 46,18 - 2nd Building South West - Sells for 75s
Dragonslayer Helm - SFK - Coords: Commander Sprinvale's Room - Shiny / Glowy Shield

Once you collect all three, go to Ashenvale - near the entrance to Stonetalon Mountains, speak to Alonso (42,72~) to turn in all 3 and receive the Raging Blow Rune

-Warbringer:

Grizzby vendor in Ratchet
Has 3 quests to complete to open his "shop" and buy rune for 5g

24 Fish Oil ? (none on AH)

16 Shredder Turbochargers (Shredders at the Venture Co. Camp in Stonetalon)

20 Dark Iron Ordinance ?

-Single Minded Fury

Durotar Supply and Logsitics Rep (Honored)
TURN IN THE !@#$%^& CRATES BOYOS

Commento di Ravenous828

FURIOUS THUNDER RUNE This dropped for my Dwarf Warrior when I killed Vagash during the Protecting the Herd quest.

Commento di Shalaoman

Warbringer Available from Grizzby in Ratchet for 5g.

Commento di MrKnubbles

Regarding the Rune of Frenzied Assault. I told Zamja I would take care of Gru'ark but he actually killed me and she still gave me the rune.

Commento di amesoob

Quick strike Forsaken: Silverpine forest Fenris island 66, 30 dead body named Recke Grinnes get a sword called Rot Bane. Commenced to kill gnolls with it and got a Quick Strike rune.

Commento di Yubby

FYI Victory Rush for Tauren coords are completely incorrect. Wowhead has honestly been wrong about a lot of rune locations for all classes so I would just use the classic discords until they post correct information.

Commento di Winder88

Dwarf & Gnome :
Furious Thunder also drops on Old Icebead.

Commento di alphasigmasigma

The different methods of acquiring each rune are mutually exclusive by zone, not by race. A dwarf warrior questing in Teldrassil can acquire the runes the "night elf" way.

Commento di rockettvc

Snagglespear in Mulgore also drops "Rune of Furious Thunder"

Commento di 2525625

FYI: Furious Thunder Rune just dropped for me by "Timber" near Iceflow Lake

Commento di 2525625

Just wanted to say, I've attempted 6 warriors in the first 3 weeks of SoD and didn't like the rune setup. I do not agree with the rune placement as the runes are noting more than bits of talents from your talent tree converted into a rune. I was expecting to see something completely different. What I was hoping for was that the runes are universal and could be placed in any socket within your talent tree and NOT in your gear.. leave the gear for enchantments etc. Plus I think the runes should have been better designed as to where they can be placed. IE: Just learn about the head or helm rune which Shield Mastery. Why on earth would one place a shield rune in one's helm.. seems to be Blizzard is haphazardly making this stuff up. Someone needs to recalculate a better system for placement. But as I said above,.. placement should be open to ANY slot within your talent tree. Like Shield Slam + Shield Mastery = (Increases all physical damage you deal by 10% while you have a shield equipped, and reduces the duration of all Disarm effects used against you by 50%.) it should also be merged with pummel or even add a knock back feature.

Since the introduction of the up coming SoD Phase 2, the rune system does NOT allow for hybrid/mutant chara to be created. The first 6 runes I acquired did not work or offer my fist weapon/duel wield warrior any benefit. Thus I'll not be continuing playing that version of the game. Furthermore, After posting nearly the same thing on the wow forums,. My comment/content was flagged for trolling.. Now I'm not longer able to post on the wow forums. I would like to hope that wowhead has an open mind to my suggestions, because Blizzard doesn't and I would also like to hope that with the reboot of Cataclysm this rune system is NOT implemented into the game.. of my 16+ years on wow will come to an end.

Commento di destrodark

I think the layout of the "old" guide was better for phase 1 runes. Having them all on one page was more convenient over having to open a new page for each individual one

Commento di Arkwolf

35, 60 in Badlands I saw a wandering swordsman who is level 40. Can only assume he's a warrior rune, as that's what he was last time he showed up. I am not a high enough level (or a warrior) so not sure what rune he gives.

Edit: Brought it to the warrior discord and they were able to test it. It's Rallying Cry.

Commento di kliern

Can confirm Wandering Swordsman Spawn at 24 / 58 Badlands. Drops Rallying Cry Rune for every warrior looting the chest after you beat him, Non-Elite level 40 rare with 7300 Health.

Commento di Impalanar

Just want to know if there is a rune in the zone you are in without having to click on each one?

I got you, fam:
Commanding Shout book - Random drop from bosses in SM Graveyard and Library
Enraged Regeneration - Starts in Desolace
Intervene - SW Shimmering Flats
Focused Rage - Arathi Highlands
Blood Surge - Starts in Arathi Highlands
Rallying Cry - Badlands (start Blood Surge first if possible)
Precise Timing - Starts in Deadwind pass

Commento di Thaidakar

The link for Sword and Board takes you to a generic Rune guide page rather than the actual SnB rune.

Commento di corpious

I wanted to summarize the rune locations since Wowhead decided to put everything on a separate page (not all of us like to have a million tabs open), even when there's minimal info needed... so credit goes out to whoever posted the info originally. I'll be back to edit in more detail at a later date.

Phase 2:

Commanding Shout (book): Random drop from bosses in SM Graveyard and Library
Enraged Regeneration (Boots): Desolace - Starts with Highway Robbery at an Extinguished Campfire northwest of the Kodo Graveyard, (/way 47 54). Go to (/way 63 39), near Kormek's Hut. Turn it in to Bibbly F'utzbuckle and pick up the quest On the Lam, which leads to Booty Bay. Then go to Arathi Highlands, there is a Rowboat under the bridge between Arathi Highlands and the Wetlands, around (/way 53 91). Interact with the Rowboat and you will be teleported to the eastern shore. Find Illari Duskfeather and speak with and fight her. Pick up the Dropped Pouch and loot Illari's Key from it. Open Illari's Loot Cache to obtain the Jewel-Encrusted Box, then open this box to loot the Rune. Night Elves get a third dialogue option to not fight.
Intervene (Boots): SW Shimmering Flats (/way 66 88) - hit the target dummies with their associated ability in order. Execute the first Combat Dummy. Taunt the second Combat Dummy. Shield Bash the third Combat Dummy.
Focused Rage (Belt): Arathi Highlands - SE in the troll cave. Hit the gong inside with the item that's a random drop from the trolls, then kill the bigger troll that comes out.
Blood Surge (Belt): Get the Illegible Recipe drop from an elite ogre in Alterac Mountains (e.g. Boulderfist Mauler or Crushridge Mage). Sends you to Arathi Highlands (Skonk at (/way 59.0, 72.0) with a follow up quest to get more items.

Defeat Ceruleos, the dragon paths just north of Lake Mennar -- middle of the path is around (/way 39.4 72.4). Return to Kajind; return to Gadgetzan and speak to Fizbuz Mithril. Go back and defeat Kajind for the rune and a 2h sword.

Commento di lavishness

For a warrior who just started in phase 5. I did not even know about Valor of Azeroth. It is not even listed in this guide. Whoever is making these WoWhead guides is not doing a good job.
