Do you want them to battle to the death too, Augustus? You don't learn how to be a healer from most of the advice given. The best way to learn is to do some dungeons.

Don't forget that if you get in a pickle you should cast Nature's Swiftness and Healing Wave for a quick heal; I suggest making a macro so it's on one button.
I have Tidal Force in my macro too, just to be sure.
I also have another macro, same function, it just casts Chain Heal instead.

I made that to.. but chain heal normal click, hold alt for Healing wave. I'm calling it "the panic button" :P
I'm also trying to figure out the this resto stuff, but from what I'v understood from reading on the forum,
Elemental weapons
is no longer effective on resto builds. personally I'm planing on placing the points in
Focused mind
.
