To unlock the dragons for the bombing run, you have to kill the mobs in front of them, and not just destroy the netting. I should know, I invis'd in, destroyed the nets without aggroing the mobs, but the dragons were unresponsive.

So there really isn't a way to solo the quest that they give you, for the bombing run. Despite my best attempts to abstain from all social contact, I will be forced to group up for this. :]

Just a few important notes on this quest, especially if you have never run Grim Batol before.

You can only do this drake bombing run once per instance lockout, so assure that everybody is ready before setting off. Essentially you want to attack the same mobs which your group attacks, to assure that the packs of mobs die because they're unsoloable.

Do not worry about killing Troggs - Your priorities should be wholly concentrated on damaging the packs of elite adds which are around because it takes a lot more effort to kill them. Troggs are generally one-shottable so once you get to that area, maybe choose to have one designated person deal with those while the other 4 members deal with the elite packs.

Final note is don't bother attacking bosses. The bosses are completely immune to the drakes attacks, and therefor lead to you only wasting cooldowns which could be better spent on the elite packs.

It is often the case that you won't complete this quest on your first attempt, so you would have to do another run to complete it, unless you're really lucky/good.

Note that you should skip wasting cooldowns on the packs you will skip on foot.

If you concentrate your cooldown usage on packs you'll actually see on foot, you can clear or very severely weaken ALL the packs you see on foot.

Any packs that are on the little outcroppings after bridges should be left alone, as these can be walked right past, and any cooldown spent on these is essentially a completely wasted cooldown.

Spread this information in your battlegroup if you're doing LFD groups to ease future runs.

Can anyone comment on the contents of the "Treasures from Grim Batol" ? (the reward from the quest)

I'm confused as to what qualifies as Twilight's Hammer Minions. After my group flew the dragon mission we were done on troggs but only had credit for two minions, and I don't even know what mobs gave us those. I assumed that if it was a "weaken now, kill later" situation we'd be able to get credit for the rest of the minions through the rest of the dungeon, but nothing counted. Did we miss a particular type of mob, or is it just that you are required to fully finish off a trash mob from the drakes for it to count (in which case...that blows)?

It does not work if you try to kill the Trogg Dwellers without the Drake.

Attempted to solo the nets on rogue to finish up this quest. The packs of mobs beforehand must be slain before the dragons can be rode.

Where are these dragons located? I see some to the left of the entrance. But when I try to ride them, they just deposit me to the 3rd boss area, no fight buttons, nothing. Is it because the instance is cleared or I am trying wrong dragons?

Please what qualifies as a minion? I did this about 3 times on reg and I still had 7 minions left to do, now I just did it on heroic and I didn't get a single minion. Also if somebody else in the group kills a minion do I get credit or do I have to do it? I just want to get done with the stupid quest and get it out of my quest log.
