Some very nice prospects for those who plan to grind away rested xp, while collecting cash to afford your respective Epic mount(s). Keep an eye out for cards, and the epic Krol Blade (very nice at the AH and not too shabby main-hand sword to last you a decade of levels). Also don't forget to loot any vendor trash for repairs (also very valuable coming off of those).

Hey* to find the it took me approximately 45-50 kills to find one.
NOTE::Remember there are two different types of ghost looking createures there,(Suffering Highborne & Anguished Highborne) only the Anguished Highborne will drop the formula.

Now this may vary i guess in different relms but in Bloodmyst it is about a 2.22%drop-rate

Took about 5-6 rounds of killing all the mobs in the area for the Icy Chill Enchantment Formula to drop. Not too bad really, especially considering I haven't seen it on our AH.

I wanted to get the icy chill echantment for one of my alts...
I got it on my first kill. I guess im just lucky when it comes to getting drops :-)

It appears that they share their spawns with the Suffering Highborne. I noticed this when I killed a Anguished Highborne next to a chest, and when I came back to the same chest some time later a Suffering Highborne had spawned there instead.

So if you are grinding for the Icy Chill formula, make sure to kill the Suffering Highborne's aswell to make room for more Anguished Highborne's to spawn.

Hmm why are people farming these like mad? They don't drop anything good.

Also there are seals on the frozen lake where these reside, and I saw a farmer open em....so there must be a quest.

People farm these because they are the only mobs that drop Formula: Enchant Weapon - Icy Chill.

Well going on 3 hours now...over 83 kills..... and no Icy Chill. I got a decent mail belt for my alt and some good xp since I am lvl 52 and they are 55-56 but no Icy Chill. Guess it just isn't my lucky day.

ive been grinding these guys for XP recently, about 1 hour in found out they drop Icy formula, which was cool cause Im an enchanter

I was farming there about 5 min and two mobs dropped this formula one by one. It was my lucky day :)

After about 50 kills, still no drop.

Just got from an anguished highbourne
for my lock. Pretty frustrating drop rate for me though since i haven't found gotten the enchant yet.

I grinded for 1.5 hrs for the Ice Enchant reipie after i sold my brothers for 35g lol he was annoyed so i grinded one for him...im not bothered thought coz i got 10k xp, 2g in cash loot and anohter 3g in other loot

After two hours of level grinding in Winterspring on these things, I got 6 icy enchant formulas on Shadow Council. That ratio seem a bit high to you?

They share spawns with Suffering Highborne, so try to kill everything.

21 minutes clearing all ghosts in the area to get 1 drop. 69 kills (nice)

Well, they sure are reluctant to drop ANYTHING other than cloth and a bit of silver.
I have been farming these for several days now and can count the number of green items dropped on one finger, nvm getting the icy chill recipe, ANY green would be nice right now..
