The quest where you have to kill Thrym is phased. You won't see any other players running around, and there's a lot more mobs than normally.

While killing the "quest" Thrym, I went straight for the Prince Navarius. Just straightforward fight, don't slam the acolytes away, they'll die eventually while slamming Navarius. When you get damaged, use the health thingy right next to Navarius. After killing him, Thrym spawns. I pulled him to the next health thingy, just a little down the road. This won't despawn Thrym, and you can grab the replenishment right when you need it.

He looks big and tough, but he isn't. He doesn't hit that hard, so you can just slam your way through. :)

its so simple to get confused because you have no idea where he is. until you find out you kill navarius and he spawns. i killed navarius and went to the chosen guy and i passed thryms spawn point so dont move form the place where you killed navarious except if you need the health thing then wait there. i wasted half an hour not knowing this.

Its Norris not Nordish and technically Thrym could not have stolen it, Mjölnir deemed him worthy of carrying the weapon and Thor=PWNZORZ

I always die on Thrym but when I pick up a storm cloud it doesn't do anything.

Also a fun note..

In norse mythology, Thrym was king of Jotunheim, which has the same name as a place in Icecrown, filled with Vrykul. His name also means "Uproar".

Awesome quest. Pretty easy too. Is there something better than kill giants, hundred of undeads riding another giant?

The coordinates are right on the picture above. You must kill the prince inorder for the big man Thrym to show up. once you kill prince he'll jump over the wall. Dont troll the main walk way where he normally walks, you'll just get frustrated trying to do so.

He seems to be leashed to the area you where you kill Prince Navarius. I tried to go find another storm cloud and he didn't follow me and despawned as Prince Navarius respawned so I think only one or the other can be up at any given time.

If this happens to you just kill Prince Navarius again to respawn Thrym.

Horribly bugged. Thyrm runs away whenever he is down to 50% health and respawns on you fully healed.

So on my 85 i just solo killed him and he drops nothing good but does make a 30sec. earthquake after killing him lol

Just in case u are rinding gymer and u dont find him: if u are killed or whatever after u killed the second guy, Navarius, u have to kill him again: Rinding gymer Thrym can only be found after u has just killed Navarius

Type the following in a macro or in chat to play the soundbite for Thrym <The Hope Ender> while he patrols Western Zul'Drak

This quest is impossible, can't be done, as the Prince Navarus is gets your health very low and supposing you do survive, Thrym will kill you immediately.
I have abandoned it, I like a challenge, but this quest is impossible and stupid. It requires me to kill 1 mob so that I get to 2nd one?
