Its funny because I got Sin'dorei Warblade, then since almost all the pallies on my server had that sword, I decided to go get the Blood-Tempered Ransuer just to be different and I like the way it looks. So after my friend and I ran into RFC real quick, then farmed the mobs outside BFD for like..5 mins, we got an SfK group together. I was so happy when I got the last quest item. Later in that SfK run we ran into this rare and he dropped this sword....which I won, lol. So then I DE'd the Sin'dorei Warblade, made the Ransuer and DE'd that. At the time I ended up being the only pally on my server with this weapon....very nice :) This weapon is great and even though I was prot spec this sword served me well. Especially come times when I got jumped by low lvl alliance with nothing better to do. Hold on to this till Corpesmaker.

Seems to be quite good for a Retri Paladin at the level as well; makes leveling so much easier. I wager it'd do well in BGs, but I'm certain there are some better. Makes for rather nice Seal of Command procs.

drop chance seems a bit too high, considering I ran SFK about 30 times, for my guildies and about 10 more times just for the blade and it never dropped. does anyone have fresh info on this matter?

man i have it as well but it doesnt have any value to me.i'm a lock a guy boosted me and he yelled like:look that guy he's rare.i wuz like ok and then the item dropped.now have it on the bank like to keep it

Hmm, I did think of the master looter thing but I am sure it would work and probably quicker if your hilg level class can stealth. I know it works if a high level jumps down to the bottom of gnomer and kills the boss that drops the toxic avenger. It can be master looted to a lowbie sitting at the top still so this probably works too. However, I did the macro thing and when I found him ran my 70 all the way too him clearing only what aggroed me along the way. When I got to the captain I just aggroed him and ran back to the front door and killed him there. He will never leash or drop aggro since it is an instance. Then my little pally friend could just loot him right there.

Been soloing SFK on my warrior for the ultimate level 19 weapons no luck but I did get this and I hit someone for 500 lol but all that aside it is nice for the RPers out there as well.

This blade just dropped for my level 25 retri paladin and it's AWESOME! I simply <3 it. Plus! Blue bracers https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=5943 dropped from the voids that are summoned by Arugal after you kill Fenrus the Devourer :)

Yea this weapon is really good for a Ret pally kept it till i was Lv 27 and then I switched to Corpsemake.It might be good for a Warior or a Hunter but nevertheless.................BEST WEP EVA IN THE HISTROY OF TWO HANDED SWORD THAT ARE DROPED IN SHADOW FANK KEEP AND THAT LOOK COOL!

Probabably one of THE best hunter weapons for this lvl. it could use some int and it would be even better but it wouldnt make much sense because that means it would be limiting the classes that could use it more effectively

For a levelling Retribution Paladin, you achieve the absolutely best results from this weapon by adding an Iron Counterweight to it, as well as keeping it loaded with a Heavy Sharpening Stone (Solid Sharpening Stone after level 25) at all times. The grindspeed you'll put out this way is just amazing.

I was soloing shadow fang keep on my 42 mm hunter when I got this weapon, I was using illusionary rod but then I decided to test this out, it crits 455! I cant believe it, thats better than illusionary rod which crits around 350. Should be an epic =)

I got this on my ret pally, awesome blade i must say but, its speed is very low. 3:80 Is extremely slow for most anything in my mind. But still all in all a fantastic sword.

Suprised that nobody's mentioned it yet, but this wep went from AP and Str(I think?) to now Str and a HUGE chunk o' hit in 4.0.3. Awesome for any melee class that wants it.

Best Two handed Weapon for Crusader Enchant Proc. 19 twinks can have. This makes some believe this is the best weapon for ret paladins in 19 twink bracket because of the Higher Proc. Rate for Crusader (it will proc more then other weapons because of the slow weapon speed.)

Got it off of Lord Godfrey after a few runs, i never saw the deathsworn captain and i was using my macro to target for him.
this in my opinion is one of the best looking two handed swords in the game, I cant wait for patch 4.3 so i can use transmogrifacation to bring this old school look back!

What u do is just make the macro

/target Deathsworn Captain

If you enter SFK to the spot were Arugal is right on the otherside of the gate you can then press the macro, if u don't target him that means he has not spawned. If he didn't spawn kill one thing then leave and reset SFK. Keep doing so until he has spawned. If you reset SFK more than 5 times it will not let you enter leave the queue and then invite a friend to the group, have him kick you and then let him put the group back into queue for SFK, have him invite you back and your 5 times reset

Slow, deadly and beautiful.
got this baby second run in SFK. loved it on first gaze great dps on low lvls. and the dmg/pr.hit is awesome xD (highpowercrits ftw.
extra bonus just look at it OMFG. easely one of the most stunning lookin swords i seen in this game.

Ran my buddy's warrior through SFK not too long ago to get this; he loves is just for the graphic. Needless to say they don't get used all that often on the alliance side, so he gets a lot of tells asking about it. Wish it had better stats for all the cooler it looks.
