From a great tip in the "Deviate Faerie Dragon" comments, spam a targeting macro ( /target Deviate Faerie Dragon ) along the wall opposite Skum to see if the Dragon has spawned. If it's there, you'll be able to target the Dragon through the wall. Saves you a LOT of unnecessary fighting when the Dragon hasn't actually spawned.

I just equipped 2 of my Lvl 20 priest toons with the Firebelcher (it dropped both times) in under 2 hours or so of farming WC.

One interesting fact about this wand is that it has it's own mini-light effect, lighting up the area around it. This effect works even if it's transmogged, but only when it's in use or just being held in the main hand.

This is a nice wand.......but the guy you obtain it from is rare spawn..so what to do about it? get high lvl friend like i did and go to deadmines...near Vancleef is a Murlock named "Cookie" and he drops an even better wand yey ---> https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=6502/紫羅蘭鱗甲

i got this the first time i ran WC with a friend and 3 others! It takes almost no effort in finding the deviate drag�nling either. I found him out in the open.

First time i runned WC ive got it, the hard thing is just to find the deviate faerie dragon. He dies in almost 3 seconds.

I saw him another time to, we killed him. But it just dropped some bastard cloak.

OK nabs there's an even better wand than this (same dmg, but faster) and what's more it's an early quest reward - much easier than farming WC 1000000 times and you can get it at a lower level.

Randomly encountered the Dragon in WC two days ago when some high levels let me follow them through so I could do the deviate hide quest. It dropped the wand and the others let me loot it. The damage is absolutely massive for a warlock ranged at lv 16.

Was doing WC solo when i saw the dragon. Killed it and it dropped this baby, nice addition to my blue collection =D . PS i've only ever seen the dragon twice and this is the first time it dropped the wand.

I have only seen this Deviate Faerie dragon once in WC, it was near Skum(the big fat dino). Why is it that it isn't always there?

I was soloing a guildie today and we stumbled upon the deviate fairy dragon. I've gone thru WC so many times I know exactly what to expect around every corner, but I've NEVER seen this puppy. The guildie LOVES the wand.

I ran WC with my Hunter 3 times and then with my priest once and every time this wand dropped. The dragon is in the hallways, that is at least where i found him every time

The wand isnt that good, you can get about 3 better wands, i have let me told that you can get one in bfd, its a quest item, and skycaller is better and coockies stirring rod is better, so i think that with the low drop rate (rare mob) it isnt worth it, you can just do DM once or twice and you have coockies, so, whats with all the fuzz?

This is a drop from a rare elite and like most rare elites, they don't always spawn when you want them to making them extra rare since you can only find it in an instance.
