I have the Unhatched Mr. Chilly in my bank... I already "learned" this companion and it's in my list of companions, but I still have the icon taking up a space... it says "Already Known".... when I try to get rid of it, it asks me to type in "Delete" to confirm and asks, "Do you want to destroy Unhatched Mr. Chilly?" I don't want to destroy my companion, but I need the space in my bank... and it shows as Soulbound....

Does anyone know if I destroy it, will it take it out of my actual list of companions? Will I lose what is "Already Known"? Am I stuck with icons taking up space? The strange thing is that some of my toons learned it and it was "consumed" but my main had it from the start and it seems to have "stuck" with my character.

Any knowledge? Thanks in advance.

I don't remember when I merged my account, but I'm fairly certain it wasn't in that time frame, and I think I did it when I got free time to come back to the game when my account was frozen for over a year, and this was in February, and I'm still getting this on all my toons.

Like Pengu does, if you target Mr.Chilly and spam the /sexy emote on him, he will eventually get on his belly and slide away, leaving a dusty cloud trail behind him. Then he runs back.

Interestingly, I quit in 2007 and came back in 2010 on that account where I was forced to make a Battle.net account. But then I decided to open a new account (with new CD keys) to take advantage of the Recruit-a-Friend program and this second WoW account also has all characters created come with Mr. Chilly.

So apparently this thing is tied to the merger and to Battle.net more than to the WoW account itself.

Even if you merged a US World of Warcraft account you get this pet on ANY World of Warcraft account on that Battle.net account, including apparently EU accounts. Just created a EU account for the first time now and "Wow... Hi Mr. Chillly... you're here too?"

I just received this pet today (13/05/12) after merging an old account that someone stoled me in 2010, i provided my original keys used for upgrading that account and they restored it into my recent battlenet account, so technically, this pet is still available if you still have and old non-merged account.
