Its all very well buying the mats but, you wont lvl ur herbs like that, On Sporeggar the Herbs are a rediculas price,,, and the whole point of the game is to play it not buy ur way through it, IE get the mats urself. or perhaps we should all buy gold and make the game totaly pointless, lol

It doesn't drop one pigment per milling, it is more like 3.

Best place to farm as of the Shattering is probably the Eastern Plaguelands. You'll only find Khadgar's Whisker to mill, but you'll find an equal amount of Sungrass needed for the next layer of pigments. The spawnrate is fairly high, if you make a circle along the southern part of the map the herbs will have respawned, and the nodes are positioned pretty close together.

I farmed those in Duskwallow Marsh and made loads of it in just an hour, don't remember how much now tough but it wasn't bad at all.

Since Stranglethorn Vale has been divided into two pieces, I thought I would comment that the herbs for Emerald Pigment are found all over the southern part known as The Cape of Stranglethorn and not so much in Northern Stranglethorn which has lower level herbs.
