This is a great looking Tabard. I used to wear my guild tabard, got this and never looked back.. I find it looks amazing on my Blood-Elf Warlock because he has orange-ish colored skin and red hair, which makes it go very well with this tabard.

Another plus is that for anyone who is a lower level, this Tabard doesn't cost much (nothing really, only a few games of Warsong/Arathi), so it's cheaper then buying a guild Tabard as well.

You can get this tabard at level 20, since you can start going to AB at level 20.

You won't be much help though, and your team members will probably get mad, so I'd wait for level 25 at least :]

Yes, but you may be (read: are) decreasing the fun of your teammates. If you could get a group full of people that absolutely did not care about winning, this would not be the case.

Hopefully, this won't be quite as much of an issue come patch 3.2- twinks will be separated from the levelers.

just in front of the barracks.
walk over the wooden bridge that leads from the tower to the outer parts of og. the large house in front of you has a shield in front of it... i guess its something like "place of heroes". nearby this shield there is a vendor selling equippable items for which you have to be soldier (on page2 there is a book for 1s with all the military rangs in it).
(for entering the barracks youve got to be officer)

I think it looks alot like the Stone Guard's Herald tabard you get from PvP. Don't you?

That's because they're essentially the exact same tabard. Sure, the Stone Guard's Herald has a couple extra squiggles in it, but the real difference is only in the status it bestows upon you. You're wearing the Stone Guard's Herald and people know you take your battlegrounds seriously, whereas any 'tard can get hold of a scout's tabard.

You can't become a scout / sergeant ra ra ra anymore, that was way back at the beginning of time when swords and arrows swung and streamed across the battlefields with true honour and justice. guild against guild, in the hearts of the world. Now though, you can barely get an outside war going, and can't get a ''rank'' next to your name unless you're level 70 and do arena.

to see the olden day twinks all with sergeant by their name, you could tell who was specifically built for those battles. Now, nothing... except the spooky glows on weapons.

The tabard has nothing to do with your guild's tabard design - all have the same look. They have more details than a standard tabard though.
