The pine cones are at the base of almost every tree in Thunder Bluff. Each pine cone cooks into 5 nuts. The pine cones are visible with find herbs ability.

The Pine Cones can be tracked with the Find Herbs ability if you're an Herbalist.

You get 5 Pine Nuts per cone so you only need to collect 6 Pine Cones.

This has got to be the easiest cooking quest by far! just go around town in Thunder Bluff and pick up 6 pinecones, then put up your "basic campfire"(in spell book) and each pine cone yields 5 pine nuts. Plus in Thunder Bluff there is almost never competition for quest items :)

Most likely, because you've done another cooking daily that day. You can't do all 3 daylies offered in 3 cities. Only 1 per day.

i have to ask, has anyone done this quest? i ask because i have not seen this quest AT ALL, and i have been looking everyday because this is the only quest i need for the achievement LETS DO LUNCH: THUNDER BLUFF

Picked this one up the other day and didn't do it. Couple of days later figure I'll do it. Find the nuts but aren't interactable. So correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this one is only doable on the day it's offered.

I flew all over Mulgore till I actually read the quest text. The pine cones are ONLY available on the Thunder Bluff Mesas (in town proper). get six and cook em up

If you're not a herbalist, take note that the pine nuts don't "Sparkle" as brightly as many quest objectives to pick up... you'll have to look closely under the trees... they won't stand out on their own too much.

You only need 6 of them as they produce 5 Pine Nuts each.

[The Shu'halo use pine nuts in so MANY dishes: meat, fish, vegetables, even baked into breads or sprinkled over sweet pastries.

The Earth Mother has blessed us in that the very BEST pine nuts come from the trees upon these very mesas. Simply gather pine cones and toast them over a cooking fire to release the nuts within.

Would you please be so kind as to gather some? There are hardly ever enough to go around...]
