Квест баганый даже судя из английских комментариев. Сделал таким образом: посл взятия садимся на грифона, он летит до изораты, щупальца скидывают, разбиваемся, ресаемся сами в щупальце, после на флае летим сдавать внутрь....

Unlike what the Series list currently indicates above, you _cannot_ pick up this quest directly after turning in Pushing Back. At least if you are Alliance and skipped the bread crumb quest The Maw of Madness (which is not available to you unless you do an unknown number of pre-quests) and instead started the series directly at Torn Ground (which doesn't require pre-quests).

It may also be the same situation on the Horde side and/or after actually doing the bread crumb initial quest(s); I don't have that information.

Instead, after turning in Pushing Back, two new quests appear in the small area around the turn-in NPC:
1) Unbroken (which leads into the following quest: Mercy For the Bound)
and
2) Simple Solutions.

After completing Unbroken & Mercy For the Bound above, there are still no follow-ups. Only after turning in Simple Solutions will The Maw of Iso'rath become available.

So The Maw of Iso'rath becomes available after doing one of two things:

1) doing & turning in Simple Solutions alone after turning in Pushing Back
2) doing & turning in Unbroken & Mercy For the Bound, then finally Simple Solutions (which is what I did).

Does anyone think it is kind of odd that Earthcaller Torunscar begins to speak perfect English when he gives this quest? Before he gives the quest he has a heavy troll accent.

Just for the record... after the tentacle grabs you and tosses you down, do not, I repeat, DO NOT move in any direction.

I made this mistake and I "landed" very briefly on one of the spiky teeth sticking out from the side and promptly slid off the side of it falling to my death inside. As a rogue, I had no nifty slow fall type ability to save me.

Once you start to fall, just back away from the keyboard till you land.

It's a good quest to get the Going Down achievement.

Don't know if this happened to anyone else but when I got knocked off my griffon I "stood" in the air for a moment then fell to my death twice. the first time was because I moved. The second time I didnt touch anything and I "stood" in the air for a moment then began to slowly fall into one of the tentacles and my death again. After resurecting I decided to fly down into the maw and was able to turn in the quest with no problems. Dont know how many others have had this problem, but if it happens to you, just fly your mount into the maw ans you can turn in the quest.

Broken in latest patch, kills you before you get to the bottom. (and no, its not like the next stage where you "fake die")

Yes its bugged. Bugged quests are annoying, but especially when you die. I died my first flight in. So instead of trying it again I flew in on my own and made it without dying.

Free "Going Down" achievement!

and the quest was totally not bugged. If you get the slow fall buff it says how your gryphon rider was fast enough to catch you. So if you dont get it, she was most likely not as fast this time around...

[We are ready to attack the beast. First, we need to destroy it's tentacles, then Yevaa will perform a ritual to summon a powerful fire elemental that we will drop into its maw.

I want you to fly out with our first group attack. Hold steady until an opportunity presents itself, then join the battle with the rest of the shaman in cutting the tentacles down.

Take any one of the gryphons when you're ready to join the assault.]
