You can use the Ruby Seeds on the corpses while stealthed, but not while mounted.

Contrary to what it looks like from the way WoW's quest guide is, it's not the bodies of red drakes you have to burn. It's the Twilight ones.

I did receive credit for the quest by using the seeds on Twilight Wyrmkiller corpses.

It seems like the only way to finish this quest is to fail to save the dragonkin you're supposed to be defending for the other quest you receive.

Admittedly you can just fly around looking for corpses but during busy hours it can be rather frustrating when there are droves of people keeping every mender alive for extended periods.

There are three types of dragonkin here.

1) The Big Red dragons which fall from the sky, which get healed by...

2) The Little Red dragons which are attacked periodically by...

3) The purple twilight dragons.

You can use the seed on the corpses of any of these for quest credit

Since the Twilight Wyrmkillers have a tendency to fly away the second you attack them, it's easier to let them kill the menders and use the seeds on them.

Took me a while, thought i had to wait for the things to die. BUT, anything in that area that dies you can use the Ruby Seed on. The good healers, the good dragons and the dark shadow dragons :) Have fun

Since I was unable to locate any corpses in the area, I simply made my own by killing Twilight Wyrmkillers and then using the Ruby Seeds on them to return them to the earth.

Description

Take these ruby seeds and plant them at the corpses of any dragonkin that you come across. Twilight or Vermillion, whelping or dragon, it matters not. We need to see that their bodies are returned to the earth so that life can continue to flourish.

In death, there should always be new life. This may be our one consolation during times of war and great tragedy.
