I had some issues at first with this quest. I was shooting, they were falling, however I was not getting credit. I found however that if I had one in my target window it worked every time. I did get a couple without having them targeted but not nearly as many.

Simplest way to complete this quest is to use your mouse for moving (both mouse buttons held down together) and using 1 and 2 on the keyboard to shoot. Get behind one and keep shooting... If you start to get ahead of the one you are shooting at, just let go of the mouse buttons for a sec. This makes it a snap!

simply one of the best (if not the best) and funniest quest that Ive done since im playing wow! :D

im gonna do another goblin just for repeat this quest but this time im gonna play at max volume "aces high" and "tailgunner" from Iron Maiden while im doing it!

I believe there is currently (as of date of post) a typo after completion of this quest and leading the the next one, The Warchief Wants You, where Sassy Hardwrench states:

Better hurry up, <name>. I think that Thrall has news on where are people are being held.

I found that the best way to do the quest was to move around by pressing down and holding your two mouse buttons.. then pick a target (does not need to be targeted/selected), press 1 as you get in closer.. if you're still not close enough to use 2, press 1 again, then press 2. Using Machine Gun twice and Wild Weasel Rockets once, in any order, will shoot them down. Have fun!

For those of you who find that you can't tilt the plane up or down... you must use the spacebar (or possibly X) to initiate the ability to tilt the plane with the mouse. After that, X and spacebar aren't necessary to tilt the plane.

Error in the screenshot the quest is actually in the warchiefs look out and the plane you need is right next to it

It appears there is no glass ceiling in this area, or it is at least much higher than normal. I was able to fly straight up for quite some time and was never stopped. Finally got bored after a few minutes and parachuted out. Used the in-game stopwatch to clock my parachute descent in at 10:57.

I missed the obvious ;[ At warchiefs look out, The quest giver has an option that lets you use the plane.

Space bar and X moves you up or down, do it once and you're good for steering.
A plane must be in your target window.
Shoot till they fall.
Stay over water so when your plane goes down, you don't die.
